I'm sorry, but I think this looks so much better than how Conviction actually turned out. It's still stealth based, as opposed to the Arkham Asylum-with-a-dash-of-Uncharte­d thing they ended up doing. To me this is much more Splinter Cell than the current Conviction.

Actually this game will be more strategic than you think. Sam is a fugitive so the camera will follow him some more steps after to give us the possibility to see more things on the screen. I think also that Ubisoft don't wants to lose the fight with Vivendi and its "Bourne Supremacy" ( will be officially announced at E3)which also will be a spy/fugitive game.

Anyway I will buy both of them :)

This first showing is looking extremely promising. I'm a big fan of the SC series and I'm glad they are reinventing the gameplay with fresh mechanics (developers that stand out to me are those that reinvent games, not rehash the same game). The explosion may not have been great but there's plenty of time for improvement. As for gameplay i think it'd enjoy this more then all the previous SC games. Hiding in shadows is getting a bit old, i prefer social stealth, like in Hitman Bloodmoney and Assassins Creed (SC and Assassin's Creed made by the same people i think)
