@3A6ALZEER no your operating system and start up is kept in the hard drive. So the SSD version would be way faster. Since it's flash memory and not a mechanic device like the tradition hard drive. Plus anything with moving parts like the hard drive won't last as long as the SSD

However, Mac is for people who are more casual and recreational. Photos, videos, web surfing etc. Macs also have better quality and last longer than PCs. My family has been using PCs my whole life and they start to break down within a year. I'm so sick of it and I can't wait to get a mac this year.

the batteries apple uses are one of the best ones a company can put into a mobile device and they last for 7 hours which is three times the amount of time you'll get with any one of those crappy notebooks from other companies.

And besides, you dont need to buy a new one, after 2 years, every battery (not only the ones from apple) have used all their charging cycles after such a long time, and then youll just have to replace it...its that simple
