  • His accent is excellent but then again his father is American.

  • Wait. He's saying "blimey?" I totally though he said "blow me." No joke.

  • You should hear him say bugger with an American accent. It's FUNNY. :)

  • oh dear... since I first discovered this I have been watching it every day... just to see the "Blimey!" :D

  • yeah the only brit who does an american accent perfectly is hugh laurie but bamber comes close. And he got better as BSG went on. What's funny is that I used to think 'that guy talks oddly' but now that so many Brits and Australians are on American TV I usually think 'oh he/she must be british or australian' and that's why they sound slightly odd.

  • @GrissomLovesSara

Just exactly how many English born Actors are in The Wire? I bet you don't get them all.

  • @dale303 Sorry, but I rented The Wire and couldn't get into it at all so I sent the disc back. What makes you assume I watched the Wire? LOL

  • Dear BBC America, don't put the punchline in the title, thanks.

  • This advert amused me greatly when I saw it on television. I submit, however, that putting the punchline in bold letters at the top of the page somewhat spoils the joke here.

  • Freakin' brilliant.

  • I totally love what BBC is doing with all their cool commercials. Wasn't there another one with Jamie being in 3 shows? BSG, Outkasts and L&O:UK? And not for nothing but Jamie Bamber is starting to get under my skin as one smokin' hot guy. His arms are freaking amazing and that white skin. Yummm I just wanna kiss it. I love pale guys just as much as tan guys (even more)

  • I'm American but only know him from L&O: UK...his American accent is very hard for me to get used to!

  • HAHAHAHHAHAHAHA! I died when it said he was secretly british.

  • Why are there no other TV channels that are this witty?

  • @ScarlettSarcasm Because non of them are British.

  • We knew that because he slipped out of character on Letterman once. It's kinda funny since he also played an American officer on Band Of Brothers.

  • @roguelead72 For me the big clue when I was watching BSG (the first thing I saw him in) was the way he said Kara. More "car-a" than "care-a" as Americans are more likely to say.

  • LMAO. this is BRILLIANT :) + Im American but I knew he was British cuz I watch hella british TV and saw him on Law and Order UK...

  • he's not only british ...he can speak with an american accent and speak french XD what else do we need ? XP

  • ...litralee....

  • ...ugh, BG is old news...

  • its not a secret he from the uk sorry guys but its true

  • @bigedd2008 I think many people were shocked to see him speaking with such a thick english accent, especially after growing accustomed to his American accent.
