  • Your Video about why India and Israel are not covered by American media appropriately while everyone seems to be obsessed with Iran. He points out that India is playing a complex game. Is Very Useful Sharing

  • Well chomsky is just shooting off his mouth...he totally wrong here..

  • Indian nuclear weapons are not reported in the US/EU because India is not perceived as a threat. It is the same reason why threat from American Nuclear weapons are not discussed in India - but discussed in Iran and Pak.

Why would one liberal, secular & plural democracy attack another?

People discuss Iranian, N.Korean and Pak weapons because those countries are run by theocratic, quasi-fascist and military dictatorships.

He might be intelligent, but his intellectual dishonesty is appalling.

  • @betadevb He is saying that Israel and US are strong arming in the Middle East (true) and Iran is responding to it. So Iran is a threat because it is going against the wishes of the powerful Western bloc (and its allies), while India and Pakistan are getting a (relatively) free pass (also true) as the West has different need from each. So if he is pointing out that US foreign policy is hypocritical (also true).

  • @betadevb When India threatened the status-quo in the late 90's India was meted out similar (if slightly less vitriolic) treatment as Iran is receiving. The reason the world has warmed up to India since the late 90's is the economic policies of India have made India a large, attractive market for the Western markets. The turn around has nothing to do with India being a plural democratic secular country.

  • @betadevb He is pointing out the hypocrisy of the US/EU/Israeli stance on Iranian nuclear weapons. I don't see any intellectual dishonesty in it. India is playing along (as he states) as the current situation does nothing to harm its own interests. Also, India is not very interested in stopping Iran acquire nuclear technology, as that will be another anti-Pakistani (relatively) pro-Indian nuclear power in the region. His interpretation/analysis of the situation is lucid.

  • common wisdom is that Pakistan's prosperity is good for India. This is a misplaced notion.Pakistan whenever (albeit for one second) showed symptoms of economic stability, its financial support against clandestine groups targeting India went up.What They seek is to avenge the partition of Pakistan. If Kashmir is solved,it wdnt stop them.Pak must be further broken down into fragments.Anti Pak sentiments such as Balochistan need to be funded by us.Pakistan needs to be pinned down.Simple.

  • stupid sound!!!!

  • Did he say that Iran is not threatening the use of force?

  • israel didn't let him in because of environmental care reasons. one Chomsky can stink an area of 5234 squere miles. And israel is such a small country.

  • Fucking pakis.

  • Fucking dumbass.

  • complicated game? What? What did he say? Is maintaining trade relations with China a complicated game? What do you want us to do then? Go to war? Dum talk. I'd rather say that it is a smart game to play. Keeping relations normal through trade relations plus also keeping country's interest in mind.

  • @zakuza92 When Chomsky said that the game is complicated, he didn't hint that was not "smart" or even wrong.

  • yeah.....can I ask what do you mean by that?

  • @zakuza92 Its high time this old fuck choaked on his own vomit. Did he compare threat of Iran's nuclear program with India's?? Well..to begin with, We dont perceive Western world as our enemy. We do not believe its out duty to bring the whole world under Hindu Law.We are very happy and secure with our beliefs of diversity and coexistence. We dnt give a fuck abt lunes who have pipedreams of ruling the world.Keep a close look at Indians u dumb fuck...while Pakistan and Iran fuck u from behind....

  • @aniketranade

I think you shouldn't be abusing Dr Noam Chomsky. He is a very respectable person and a great moral voice in west. Get the right perspective before you start abusing.

  • @giriyy oh no mate....he wont stop abusing....its quite futile to even suggest that......the problem here in my country is that most people are so fucking blinded by 'patriotism' that if anyone even utters a word against the administration's faults.....they start a tirade of abuse against them.....furthermore quite a lot of them lack understanding of politics.....lets just say that we have our own version of 'republicans' lol....more intelligent than the ones in the US but nonetheless quite dumb

  • @zakuza92 I think by saying that maintaining a relationship with China is a complicated, he means that India is balancing both US and China and that is a complicated game..He is not being judgmental..he is just stating the hard path that India has chosen..And IT IS hard to maintain both.. Please listen to him carefully before condemning someone like Noam Chomsky !

  • i wrote thanks for the video.i did not write UFMIFU.if it means what i think it does, then FUCK YOU.

  • UFMIFU

  • thanks for the videos.

  • I am glad SAMAA is doing this. it is a good news channel. i like their coverage. great interview

  • Right, the USA is the victim.

The victim of Marcos in the Philippines, Chung & co. in Korea, Suharto in Indonesia, the Generals in Greece, the countless "National Security States" in Central & South America, Hirq in Pakistan, and so on and so forth down through the list.

Stacking up this litany one might be inclined to suspect foul play on the part of the USA - but this would be wrong! It is the innocent victim, its blundering efforts to do good led astray by vile foreigners!!

  • Are you high? He's saying India and Israel aren't being reported on properly in the US. Which is true; AIPAC essentially prevents anything about the occupation from making it into US media. Whats all this sarcastic nonsense you posted about the US being a victim? Who said such a thing in the comments?
