I thought it was "over the top" but I've learned not to put God in a box. During the great revivals of early America, the same stuff happened. I have had many quiet moments with God, but one time, He let me know that He is very real! My reaction was to shake my head in wonder, tell Him how beautiful He is over and over. I'm sure I laughed for joy too. God is powerful and amazing, so we can't say how we'd react when he makes himself powerfully real to us. 32 yrs and I'm still beyond amazed!!!!

I thought it was "over the top" but I've learned not to put God in a box. During the great revivals of early America, the same stuff happened. I have had many quiet moments with God, but one time, He let me know that He is very real! My reaction was to shake my head in wonder, tell Him how beautiful He is over and over. I'm sure I laughed for joy too. God is powerful and amazing, so we can't say how we'd react when he makes himself powerfully real to us. 32 yrs and I'm still beyond amazed!!!!

Whats also unique is that they try to attract the young, rich, wealthy or influencial. Its led by a preacher that used to be a barrister. At the risk of sounding like a pentecostal, like one of them, I really think that there has to be some kind of dark spiritual force at work in these churches. However, I am more inclined to believe that they have some kind of power source emitting something that's screwing with these people's brains. I read once that Benny Hinn carries some kind of battery powered device that emits magnetic waves. Maybe more of the same here.
