I would think that Casey Anthony would be the type to enjoy this type of music, maybe even having "Getting away with murder" by Papa Roach. The meaning of this song speaks volumes in reflecting how her own daughter was most likely a burden, despite the smiles recorded, she probably hid her personal feelings about the burden of being a single mother at such a young age quite well. She showed no remorse whatsoever for the death of her daughter, but rather for the fate of her own life instead.

I am 50 years old and have always been a lover of almost all types of music. This is a very beautiful song. It is a shame it is now tainted by Casey Anthony. She did what she did for her own selfish reasons, not because of the music she listened to. The seed was already planted by her. It comes across to me as a song that is related to by Casey, post murder. If you were reading this from her diary, I believe, it could have been used as a confession given the facts of the case. I came here from Dr. Drew. Haven't really followed the case for 3 years so I've had to play catch up in last month. The guest on Dr. Drew tonight was riveting. Casey came back home from jail and was the happiest woman ever and acted like nothing happened. Frickin bizarre.

I'm just shocked that a woman like this would kill her kid and throw her life away like this. Yeah she got off but her life will be filled with scorn or loser types with no future. Really Sad and Tragic.

She was ready to move on with her new bf (who didn't want caylee around). Leaving Caylee to her parents would mean to Casey that she failed as a mother in her mind and would give a 'victory" to Cindy's contention that Casey is a loser. Casey picked Tony (not partying) over Caylee for her future.

Thanks for putting the song up with the lyrics. I'm a longtime Sevendust fan and I really like the new album, especially this song. This definately describes my life right now, especially this verse "Beneath the water ... That's falling from my eyes ... Lays a soul I've left behind ...
