gr8 work...cud u teach me the vray techniques??...im a beginner level 3ds max user...im working as a 3ds max trainer in a private computer institute...if u teach me d vray techniques it'll b really helpful for me to teach my students also...thank u...
Okay! That's how I render my architectural interiors too... As an architect interested in lighting and rendering too I must say that there are no lamps in the whole scene, and that makes your "fake" lighting more "fake" !! (in the good way of saying fake, please my english is not perfect don't misunderstand :P) Just a question.. when ou want to make some change like opening a door or switching on/off some lights, you have to render and calculate IrMap and LC every frame don't you? Thanks!!!!!!!!
thanks for the comment drake282,in vray rendering for the interior setup irmap(render every 10 frame to save gi in one file-turn on the 'do not render final image') & lightcatch(flythrough for saving catch on 1st frame - 2000) combination is the best man.after completion of this two rendering use 'from file' to recall the gi & lightcatch.for the lighting setup one sun light & some vray light inside is enough,& render time is around 40sec/frame.if u have any problem than don't hesitate to mail me
it looks great. i'm trying to do something similar with a studio but the render times are too long. how long did it take to render and what setup have u got?
