  • I know you track alone but...holy cow Jamie, even expert mountain climbers know better than to tackle that type of terrain by themselves. At least make someone aware of your whereabouts and a contact time. Remember the "expert" who had to cut off his own arm because he didn't tell anyone where he was climbing ? You be careful out there pal.

  • @nerblebun no worries my friend I am covered. Thanks for your support and concerns

  • @4jaimeavalos I should have known you already had the situation well covered, but still got a bit concerned.

Hey, that handrail looks very familiar as does the area in this video. When my son and I were hiking the Pacific Crest trail we ran into several handrails set into the rock at strategic areas. We didn't climb to the caves because we just didn't have the correct equipment. If it's where I think it is... you are way back there my friend.

  • @nerblebun No handrails here just what was placed. If you want to come here you really want to be here. Traversed two snow bridges and gained 3k elevation then slid down loose rock to get to the rappelling site.

  • @4jaimeavalos My mistake....looking closer I see it's not handrails. I have seen handrails placed,i guess,by the Forrest Service, on some of the steeper climbs along the Pacific Crest Trail. In one spot there were caves visible from the trail but too high to get to without the proper equipment. I thought this was the same area. Obviously I was mistaken. Good luck exploring these caves my friend.... they do look promising.

  • @nerblebun sorry it has taken me. I must of missed it. Thanks for your support

  • good video,nice scenic views

  • these creatures are undergroud or above ground. period. too big to be nesting. great idea. they have to be up there somewhere. great video and good luck.

  • @MLAiley66 What is the evolutionary advantage for long arms and great upper body strength? They have been seen climbing including myself. Understanding their abilities is the key in tracking them.

  • Rapel !!! nice.

  • Super-duper COOL! That is certainly some rugged terrain. I hope you find some great stuff.

    Take care,

    Stevesquatch

  • Whoaaaaa, takin it to a new level! what a snow pack, the klamath, salmon and trininty are still high and very cold. Growth in the underbrush is thick this year and just now starting to dry out a bit. Seems like an abundance of food available this year and a good time for feeding. Any Idea's on its forage?

  • Hope to be seeing more what you found in the cave, Thanks.
