But you can only see it from the real solid object through the glass or you can from the other side too (from the both sides) [Not only throught the glass] I saw this illusion on Mentalist :) please can you answer me in short period? Thank you great video BTW!
Awesome, I will give this a go. So you just place the object in front of black material, a sheet of glass around in front of it, and a light shining on it?
WOW so pro!!!!!!! I just want to ask, do you put like a complete black background behind the real thing or the ghost and is the ghost reflected through the glass?
nope, it was invented by an engineer called Henry Dircks he then tried to sell the illusion to theaters but couldn't and eventually John Pepper, who was the director at the royal polytechnic, saw it and used it there to encourage more visitors etc.
relly i like it , u r nice :) , can you tell me pliz if the glass is a special one or just an ordinary one .. and where can i buy it ....can i do that with people ??? thx !!!! Jose
if only the camera is not shaky

Really cool. They did the same thing during the Fall 2006 McQueen fashion show, with Kate Moss as the ghost.

So, the viewer is behind the glass, but in front of the object...right?

That's pretty cool! I've seen the effect before, but it's cool to see the other side of it. Good explanation of how to make this happen on the cheap.
