Everyone thinks I'm a collector. I carry with me (and this is all at the same time) a Swisschamp XLT, a Smith & Wesson Extreme Ops, a Victorinx Classic SD. I also have a Swisscard (for my wallet) and a Wegner Ranger (to replace the Smith & Wesson in my EDC) coming in the mail.

But, I use them all. And keep NONE (so far) at home. They're tools to me, not novelties, so I wouldn't really consider it a collection. Although everyone else does. -.-

When I was a kid that was the Man's Knife! lol  That Sog Bowie is Crazy too. Try Lovelace- He makes the most expensive fighting knife-non cosmetic- it's just pure simple made to last forever! No. My Buck 184 STYLE knife ISN'T A BUCK 184....the Buck 184 came with a 425mod stainless steel blade my COPY has a thick knurled stainless handle & guard but with a 1095 high carbon steel blade. It's 2oz heavier than a real Buck 184 and holds a WAY BETTER edge than a Buck 184. The 110 is and always will be a great knife but I prefer my 426 Bucklite. I own 2 Lovelace knives & my collection is 248 knives & counting...it's an INSURED collection, too & not one Cold Steel or Ka-bar in it -lol-

It's not the number of knives in a collection that makes it good, its what's in the collection. I collect what I consider to be fairly high quality pieces. I don't own as many as you because I pay a lot more for quality I'm sure. There is well over $1000 worth of knives in this video if somebody had paid the full MSRP (which I didn't)

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but Smith & Wesson knives are generally considered to be inexpensive and of poor quality. Have you seen the price on Chris Reeve Knives? Try $370 for their most basic Sebenza folder. It'll last a lifetime though.
