I'd love to revisit Pokhara, though I've heard it's already changed a lot in 25 years. I pray that the country doesn't fall prey to any more serious infighting (possibly caused by outside interference)
I just came back from pokhara last week. I must say pokhara is a wonderful place for vacation. Try renting a bike and travel along the village roads, you'll love it for sure =0)
How safe is Nepal to visit these days? I'd heard that there was civil war going on in the remoter parts of the country. I've always enjoyed reading about Nepal and find it fascinating. I just wouldn't want to get caught in the middle of something that might be dangerous, though.
