  • 50.000 people used to live here. Now its a ghost town.

  • It must be scary to walk in there o.o i want to go in there xD

  • thank god the world has safty standard, and atomic power has come so far from the past!

plame the soviets for no safety features, not the atomic power it's self....

  • omg radiation is still here O_O .)

  • @McFat767 yeah

  • hi .. think ur video is amazing ,, really interested in things like this,, what did it feel like there,, scary,, how are u feeling now after been there,, and i was surprised u could just walk through i thought there would be security to stop people,, how near do people live tp site

  • a few hundred have returned and live there, still! in Pripyat. not everything is dead there! dont believe the Media! go un IAEA and checkt for their reports. u'll be surprised!

  • y wood u go there do u wont cancer or a third arm

  • @ andrewleee033 - LOL

in all seriousness tho iv heard u get a lifetimes worth of background radiation in 15 mins in chernobl or pripyat :O

  • dude you only have to worry about that if you touch more likely metal all the time there, but if you wanna get some mutation I recommend you go directly deep into the sarcophagus :D

  • sicher das du die kamera da nich gefunden hast ^^ muhaha

  • I would never go anywhere near there... they found a fucking bicycle in a tree over 50 miles from there with trace radiation that had somehow gotten blown away that far... I can just imagine how much of you guy's hair has fallen out by now...

  • the reason I don't believe you is because Nuclear Plants don't explode, they melt down. The core melts thru its housing and leaks radiation. Any explosion would come from primary steam valves. What happened at Chernobyl is similar at 3 Mile Island, only no protocol in was observed here. Another thing, I have practical experience here because I happen to do NDT work in Nuclear Plants around the country, one of which may be powering your computer right now.

  • Well, Google is your friend

  • don't make fun of Speaker, he's enrolled in the Oregon Public School system. No wonder he doesn't know about what happened here. They drop the ball on all things history related.

  • Who's making fun?

  • not true

  • It's true, what the fuck? Thank you for backing up your argument with facts and such, too.

  • Where are your facts, I can throw a bike into a tree right now. Hair falls out within the first 48 hours of exposure you fucking genius.

  • Lol

  • what happened?

  • Are you a fucking idiot? everyone knows what happened in Chernobyl.

  • incredible footage. wondeful job, guys.

  • Twenty-some years later, and the place is still really eerie. Radioactivity's gone down, sure, but it's just...wow.

  • Chernobyl... So thats where emos came from... //.-

  • steffinatorr blates doesnt know much about the zone. do some research next time? its not actually that radioactive...pripyat and the area surrounding the NPP is actually a tourist attraction now.

  • what fucking idiots they might aswell just jump over a cliff and die. why go into radiation zone?! are you crazy?

  • The red forest?

  • I'm so tired lol

I just looked it up on Wikipedia and some other place, I was wrong. You could get in some pretty bad situations there. You guys were probably fine though, people saying you're going to die is just retarded.

The video was freaky, man :D

  • Shut up fucking yankies,i am from ukraine and i am realy know everything about chernobyl!!! shut up,i said shut up!

  • You know nothing.

  • Breack ya neck bitch!

  • умереть

  • shut up, piece of shit!

  • Stupid Ukrainian.

  • you should have taken emo pictures with you inside the bumper cars and put them on myspace, that would be AWESOM

  • Is that music from STALKER?

Is it a bad thing that I instantly recognized it?

  • Are those guys now sick?

    I think so

  • well you already got some good doses of radiation so you could have just walked into the power plant.. maybe find a hole in the sarcofagus and enter reactor 4 .. yay.. let's film some of that plutonium...

  • i dont think anyone will reinhabit that place. theres a lake in there were if you stand on the shore for a minute you've already taken a lethal dose of radiation.

  • that is hell !!

  • this is whats on call of duty 4

  • Big fucking whoop.

I'm more interest in S.T.A.L.K.E.R's concept of it than CoD4's.

  • DID YOU RECORD THIS VIDEO

    IF YES

    you are crasy ^^

  • why hes crazy? and he filmed this.. cuz there isnt enymore danger.

  • There's still pockets of radiation in some things and the ambient radiation levels are still fairly high. They seem to have a good enough Geiger counter that they're using as they go.

What would be of more immediate danger would be unstable structures, I would have a hardhat, you'd also look more like you were allowed to be there.

  • Not as much danger, but still pockets of radiation abound in that area. Not mention I noticed that they got really to the CNPP itself. Now THAT'S a dangerous place to be IMO. Enjoy your cancer boys.

  • Cancer? So what? I glow in the dark... THATS awesome!

  • U damn idiot!

There is so much radiation there!

  • i'ma idiot?! :D haha there normal ppl can live but if he goes really close to that npp then ppl can maybe get injured.. u dumb

  • What do you know? The radiation level near the powerplant is lower than, most of the other places in Pripyat. haha

  • yeah in "Hot spotes" yes.. i know that. but inside reactor there is over 50 times higher than normal.

  • SPOTS! Yeah and inside is not the same as close to the ChNPP ;)

  • lol yeah but in fuckin NPP there is radiation higher than in spots!

  • Thats obvious...

  • Argh::: Kittyfucker::: Entered chernobyl, how nasty

  • loved it!

    =]

    Best video on youtube.

  • u can get cancer when u get older dudes...too much radiation!!

  • 2:53 mad me jump!

  • lol. what exactly made you jump ....?

  • look at the number on the giger counter in his hand, that place is dangerous.

  • yo look at the numbers on the giger counter in his hand, that place is like a death trap, so much radiation.

  • Wicked nice. I would like to go there and see it for myself.

  • Where are you?Exclusion Zone or the Zone of Alienation?

  • Its the same thing, just 2 different names, hehe :)

  • eerie isn't it

  • I have been playing a game called STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl. A very atmospheric FPS-RPG. And before I even started playing the sci fi game, I found out it was based on a real life event. That really makes the game a lot more scary. It makes you wonder where our world might be many years in the future. As for what Will said, I think more likely radiation would kill an animal over time rather than mutate it. Insects are the only thing on our planet that would most likely survive the worst of it.

  • this shit is scary

  • On the bit that they are standing, they are safe, if they go any further than where they are standing, they will receive massive amounts of radiation, about the same amount as gettign 30 chest Xrays a second, and, in 5 minutes, they would die.

  • Nope... Not true... :D

  • what was the radiation level close by the reactor? is standing close by the reactor without wearing protecting clothes not dangerous?

  • But you will get the same radiation in a day in Chernobyl :)

  • wow that was an awesome video dude! that place is really spooky though, couldnt you have got cancer or something by walking around there? and is it actually legal to go there?

  • also, is there any mutated animals or anything there? just wondering.

  • No there is not any mutated animals. I think. Never reported, hehe. Yes its legal to go around i the Chernobyl zone, but only with a guide. And the cancer, yes and no. You will absorb the same radiation like you will in an x-ray.

  • Nice video dude ;)

  • You didn't have to make it so dark.

  • did you travel on it? Nice video, im thinkin in go also

  • Interesting video. Thanks for sharing. By the way, the dark haired guy is really hot!

  • Thanks :D Cuz its me, hehe...

  • You're welcome. :)

  • muito loco esses caras sao muito doido,,acho que o binladem esta escondido em chernobyl hahahaha

  • Thanks :p actually its my face, haha...
