many kanji have totally different meanings in japan and china - like the kanji for japanese 'letter' - a friend told me in chinese the same kanji means 'toilet paper' (I don't know if it true though ... the only chinese I know is 'nihao' and 'wo ai ni' ...)
I'm half japanese and I can understand enough to tell you that this song is japanese too - it has a typical japanese prounounciation
