I don't live in williamsburg. I don't go to williamsburg. Neither Brooklyn NOR my dislike for hipster crap like team gina, in favor of queer art with actual politics is "hipper than thou." we should expect more than this cutesy bullshit.
And before you talk shit about a city you obviously know jack about, maybe you should spend some time in brooklyn. Which, by the way, is significantly larger than williamsburg, which is doubtless where team gina would choose to spend their time.
hey, just for the record? i lived in brooklyn for 8 years. flatbush to be exact. my only experience with williamsburg was going to beacon's closet a couple times, which i found kinda overpriced.
i like queer art with actual politics too (and also love the shondes; we know then and have played with them before) and if you don't like my band that's fine with me but please don't make assumptions about where i spend my time.
