So, he may not be a juggalo himself but he is friends with ICP, and him going on tour with them and playng the Gathering helped him gain a ton of fans.

I don't think Tech is necessarily a juggalo but he's obviously friends with ICP, Twiztid, etc. And when ICP brought him on the Wicked Wonka Tour about 10 years ago and gave him a spot on the Gathering of the Juggalos, it introduced the juggalos to his music and he gained thousands of fans. So, he may not be a juggalo himself but he is friends with ICP, and him going on tour with them and playng the Gathering helped him gain a ton of fans.

The word "Clown" can also refer to someone who is insincere and likes to play around; I have always taken the lyric in that way. This seems really obvious to me in "This Is Me" when he says "I'm a king, I'm a clown, I'm a G" which I take to mean "I'm elite, I'm a joker, and I'm hardcore". To me, this makes a lot more sense and holds a lot more meaning than an ICP shoutout...
