Great scott, are you on drugs? So... you can't wear them in formation. How often do you stand formation? If it's often enough to worry about your eyes, you have another problem right there. They have to be black frames, gray or black lenses, and not clash with your uniform. simple.

Just wondering but you got out of the Army because you couldn't wear sunglasses? What are you, Cory Hart?

1. Formations are prohibited in Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan. (blowing sand)
2. Do not use chemicals in formation. (when not in formation, you better have your face shield on)
3. Do not clean your weapon in formation.
4. Get a prescription and you will be exempt.
When "in theater", I use my prescription, UV block, transition Wiley-X goggles.
