page one of these comments and i've seen Ian Curtis, Jim Morrison, Iggy pop and the Horros mentioned. DERP ITS NICK CAVE. SURE THERE MAYBE INFLUENCED BUT ITS NOT THAT SIMILAR. GIVE UP GUIZ.
Yeah, I remember the Lydia Lunch split disc. Still have it along with most of TBP's releases. Sadly, I never got to see the band play live but I did get to see Nick open for The Cramps in '84 and again in '86. Yeah, I'm old. LOL!
@wiseblood90 blixa is a very ordinary rock n roll guitarist, this aint blixa your right, its rowland with his screaming fender jaguar and twin reverb fender amp
@wiseblood90 in the dude's defence, rowland had messy hair, wore all black and played a fender jaguar...and he looks like blixa from a distance...and blixa did play with the birthday party a few times before they dissolved and nick started the bad seeds.

hahaha this is so funny. I just looked these guys up and discovered that this dude is infact nick cave. guess he found better drugs later on. thankfully.
@finnvoxal I guess your own lack of knowledge should offend you more then. Nick Cave is the singer. Rowland S. Howard is the guitarist. You are the ignorant one.
Huh? I didn't say anything about Cave or Howard, I was referring to the drug comment/ all their negative comments on the song without even knowing who it was and how it was implied that this song sucked...
I would recommend buying every album the Birthday Party and the Bad Seeds put out, in consecutive order, up to and including the Boatmans Call. Quite a run!
Forgotten how great the Birthday Party were live. Ah, memories of seeing them as a support band to Bauhaus at the Liverpool Royal Court Theatre back in '82?.

Or maybe like Denis Levant, the guy who used to be in Leos Carax's films, doing Jim Morrison. "I am a king"--I am the Lizard King?
