  • Dang you make it look so easy. I'm jealous froggy. I got no rhythm! I play saxophone, trumpet & flute, but OH how I wish I could play drums. Can't even play piano. I'm stuck in the one thing at a time syndrome, can't separate my body left from right. It's a one note at a time curse! Thanks for posting this, it' s cool to see it actually played while you listen. You are fantastic! Can you post some ELO & 70's rock?

  • Wow! Great Job! Rock on \m/

Keep up the good work and I did a cover of Phil too!

I play drums with my right arm only due to my handicap

  • Very nice big broziff...

  • Very good, congratulations!!!!

  • Very nice, have you always played open-handed?

  • Very nice playing!! I wish I could have a drumset like that.... It's just a dream!!

  • Nice dude, I love it1

  • Great Job! Wish I would have taken up drums. Do you have the Guinness Book record for largest trap set? Dang! That's awesome!

  • haha showoff, great cover man i enjoyed that as much as watching phil collins

  • @frogpond1 what i always want to ask a drummer ... does practicing give you strong arm and neck muscles ?

  • @sooperfukker You develop playing muscles, which are stronger, but not like a weightlifter ,,,,,,more like a boxer.

  • @froggpond1

Which would lead me to another question. What is the difference between the drummers that use lots of power (seemingly) and those drummers who seem to have quite an easy time when even playing the most demanding sets ?

  • @froggpond1 yeah its true look at phill collins hes very muscled he hads very good biceps.

  • @froggpond1 great job

  • @froggpond1

Question then: Would training under a similar program be better than say.. another type of program? Also, I haven't seen anyone play the way you do with the right stick on the snare and not the left. Is this easier for you or more challanging?

  • @pskittle488

I can't answer for him, but I play the same way. I'm left-handed and it just comes more naturally for me to do it that way. Perhaps a side-product of playing on a right-handed person's setup initially and just sticking with it that way instead of trying to move everything over to a lefty setup, but nowadays if I were to go to a left-handed setup I wouldn't be able to play it for shit.

  • @sooperfukker not just creating muscle, not just the neck and arms but more shoulder muscles and stronger wrists. It entails more muscle dexterity and its a great exercise especially if you play some type of heavy metal your legs create stronger glutes and thighs. Why you think that majority of drummers are skinny, no other band member from singers to guitarists can not complaint about pain while the drummer keeps the beat and some how maganes to pop his hip while playing, thats hap to me.

  • I played the drum during 15 years and it is always a happiness of watch playing somebody it. THANK YOU

  • Very well done! Great balance on the mix of your kit, too, with that solid low end on the kick. Very professional!

  • Nice!

  • that was cool like those cymbal pull off you did very slick

  • Excellent job!

  • Mistakesl? I'm lucky I have the coordination to walk... When I did top-40 radio from 1990-1993 , the song filled the "DJ pick" slot in my playlist many times. Reaching up to dampen the cymbal--while still drumming? The sound is perfect...especially for an improv.. I expected to see the hi-hat, snare and probably kick bass (can't see it) star in this drum-driven classic. which is still good to hear 25+ years after its first release, but it takes the drummer to put them together. Great Job!
