TWO WORDS - WINDOW SWITCH. Intake manifold puddling wouldn't have happend if he had one. They cost about 60 bucks Far less than the cost of the whole car. Sucks too cause preppy boy in the vette probably paid someone way too much money already to install that kit. Anybody who installs a nozzle kit on a car with a plastic intaje manifold & without a window switch is asking for trouble.

a 4.2L engine? You mean a 5.7(346CID) and this particular situation occurred because of low rpm activation with a wet kit that resulted in puddling fuel in the intake manifold due to insufficient cylinder pressure in the motor at that particular rpm. I've sprayed nitrous for years and never had any problems. I don't activate any of my nitrous kits below 3500rpms... If you're a dumbass, get a window switch, if you don't want to be a dumbass, get a window switch.

@greentea223 It adds extra oxygen, that's why you have a nitrous solenoid and a fuel solenoid, it adds extra oxygen to burn more fuel, the nitrogen acts as a buffer cooling combustion, allowing the engine to burn more fuel without excessive heat. Also, in some fuel injected set ups the fuel injection adds the extra fuel instead of a separate solenoid. NO2 IS NOT FLAMMABLE AT ALL. It is an accelerant, adding extra oxygen to the mix. GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT SO YOU DON"T LOOK STUPID!
