He's not a pro style QB and he didn't want to play WR in the pros, so he returned to Nebraska where he basically has it made. That guy could get away with murder in Nebraska. (not that he would kill anyone; he's a stand-up guy)

I guess he would rather make less money than play a position where he felt his talent was being squandered.

He was a much better passer than his percentage would show. Once he got in a groove, he was pretty consistent, but there wasn't much passing in NU's offense.

So after not making it on either team because of that. He went up to CFL which he did pretty good, but not enough for a good career.
