Interesting that the people HAD already spoken on the issue. They voted for Health Reform. 75% were in favor of the public option. Until the right-wing smear machine started to do what they do well.

What they called "death panels," were favored by Newt Gingrich and Sarah Palin before Obama did.

What they called "unconstitutional" individual mandate was first proposed by Republicans in the 90's and enacted by a Republican governor.

It's quite clear they worked only to stop progress.
