Hello Mark, did the 2G DDR2 upgrade feel like an improvement at all? Could you do a video comparing its performance with 1G and 2G? I ask because watching other videos I can't see much of an improvement at all, even after installing regular software and multitasking.
I don't know if it was that big of a deal or not, as I immediately switched the RAM to 2GB. I don't even think I have the original anymore.
All I can say is that I've had this thing for over a year now, and it runs pretty great. Also, I'm not sure if I mentioned this in the video, but when you're switching out the RAM, be VERY careful. The first time, a spring snapped inside on me, and luckily Asus replaced the computer for me.

I actually installed mine from the Microsoft website, but I do know that to install it using a disc with a netbook, you will need an external disc drive. I think (but I'm not sure) you hook it up to the computer and boot up with the disc in there.
