  • I have Aspergers too & went through the same shit u did through fire drills now I just plain hate them

  • Although I don't usually talk in my videos, this instance of me doing so was incidental, and could not be edited w/o altering the video.

  • i have Aspergers syndrom too. They put me in the office and let me Hold by ears

  • Last year my school did shake and fire drills so they go on the intercom and say drop and cover then they say all clear then the fire arm goes off

  • At my school there is a click then a short pause, then the alarm goes off, we have talking ones

  • Your School alarms hav Issues

  • At my school the strobes flash before the alarm goes off the alarms at my school are gentex strobes with simplex mini horns in the classrooms in multi purpus rooms they have gentex comander 3 set to tone and in the band rooms they have gentex shg sounding like a commander 3 on mechanical and outside we have system censor mass on 800 and in the bathrooms we have just strobes

  • Same with me. When outside I unplugged them

  • I have Autisum & Cyrebril Paulsy and I hate fire drills, too. The loudest fire alarm I've ever heard was the one in West Glocester Elementry School. It was just one long blare. Like this: "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" It was so loud I actully had to have headphones to cover my ears!

  • @Teddyrockstheworld1, headphones never really helped me, unless if I was listening to music in the alarm background.

  • I also have Asperger's Disorder and I am also very frightened about fire drills. In my elementary school, we had 10 inch Simplex 2901-9333 fire bells set to continuous coding, and an extra 200hz low pitch beeping noise over the intercom that wasn't doing any coding in time. No accommodations were made for me whatsoever. This year, they still won't tell me about the fire drill. However, now we have a Notifier AFP 200 system with Spectralerts and Spectralert Advances. They are a bit better.

  • @int3ll3r0n, hmm. In my situation, I would prefer bells over electronic horns, since I grew up hearing electronic horns over the years.

  • ...but since I'm graduating, I probably don't have to worry much about them anymore.

  • sounds like the true alert

  • @smith2205, nope. They're all U-MMTs.

  • @wiiplayer9revisited Our schoo has a Siemens MXL-IQ with Wheelock MT's posted outside in the hallways. Wheelock RSS strobes posted inside of most classrooms for signal. You don't want to know what happened to me in Middle School.

  • @whelenvortexr4, my school uses a tall Siemens MXL panel.

  • @wiiplayer9revisited Are the smoke detectors Siemens Fire Prints?

  • @whelenvortexr4, yep.

  • @wiiplayer9revisited So are ours.

  • Hello, in my Junior high school we ONLY practice fire drills. YEP.

  • OH YEA those two fire drills during the mid-terms. Isn't it weird that they both occured during 2nd period?

  • @marioparty2009, yep. What's even more humiliating to myself is that during the wednesday alarm, I was sitting too damn close (I just had to say that) to the freakin' alarm, and I got a SEVERE migrane later that day.

  • @wiiplayer9revisited ugh that sucks. After my class reviewed we had free time and i was just about to fall asleep on my friend's jacket and then it scared the living crap out of me. It woke me up a lot

  • oh i remember this one time one of the idiot people at my middle school had lit a garbage can on fire and we got to go home for the day and she got expelled from the school i was laughing at her. why would you do that you can kill some one

  • In my high school we had the fire alarms go off a lot, and most of them were not drills. Many of them were false alarms, and ppl lighting dumpsters on fire.

  • @Lingyan203, not long ago, a student tried to wake up a student by lighting a match in class and trying to "burn" the other student, but I immediately yelled at the kid, which stopped the perp.

  • @wiiplayer9revisited Wow. I'm glad u stopped him/her in time. As for my high school, sometimes we get fire alarms pulled more than once in one day. One time, someone lit a dumpster on fire and we all had to go out and stand in the rain on a chilly day. We also had like a stairwell all covered in smoke, but I had no idea how that happened.

  • @Lingyan203, students have never really activated the alarm at school using the pull station, though sometimes, they lift the cover off to make the annoying sound from the cover, and sometimes in the gym, they may accidentally hit the cover with a basketball.

  • @Lingyan203, however, if I ever caught a student lighting a fire in the school, I would've ran to get the fire extinguisher.

  • @wiiplayer9revisited That's very brave of you, man. In addition to a lot of false fire alarms being pulled at my high school, we had the most number of break and enters, false 911 calls and mischief out of all the high schools in Ottawa.

  • @wiiplayer9revisited Or get water.

  • Cool video, in my town, i have spring break!

  • @LukeJ62895, Our Spring Break was last month.

  • @wiiplayer9revisited cool! sounds fun!
