I have an 86 iroc. Me and my dad threw and new motor in it cuz the last one blew. We got the motor started about 2 months ago but then the transmission blew. So we got that rebuilt and put it back in. We also replaced the fuel injectors. It's a 305 btw( kinda lame). And it's not starting up now? It will turn over tho. Any ideas to why it won't start? Fuel pump works.

@JaironHarrison Hey I just worked on a Camaro for a guy with your same measurements.His knees were to close to the dash with the seat all the way back.I had to unbolt the seat and move it back about 2 1/2".I drilled new holes in the floor and rebolted the seat down. He's nice and comfortable now

@randomradicalstuff Heavy duty front struts lol, the guy I got mine from just put plastic spacers on the springs when he put the 350 in it and I think the struts were the originals! It was pretty terrifying when I removed them and realized they had NO pressure left in them, they were just rusted metal tubes within slightly bigger metal tubes lmao

I've owned this car since 1988. I did all the work on the car. When the car ran 11's I had a 350 with a b&m supercharger. It's the same car, I just took off the rear wing and the stripes that I had on the car. I put the 454 in the car 2 years ago. I don't know the cam specs because I bought the engine used and the seller didn't have the specs. I don't check the comments all the time on here, but I'm pretty sure I mentioned specs before.

I guess it depends on where you live. I ran a stock radiator first, but it just wouldn't run cool enough for me. I later bought a alum. radiator from summit racing. It's been fine ever since.

Nice! I've started the same swap,but in a 92 RS.. What are some of the challenges you faced.. I'm keeping my a/c if possible. Beefing up the 700R4.. The stock rear is trash for the hp and torque I believe I will be in(550-600)hp any suggestions? How about vacuum? Thinking of electric water pump for less draw down.. 850carb w/mech secondary. @Cleelopez one thng to no is tht b4 long tht 700r4 is gonna come apart when racing it with a BBC in front of it id go with a glide,th400, or th350. tha 700r4 is really for cruising they dont hold up as good as other GM transmissions but better with gas milage

Thanks. The engine was built to run on pump gas, but it's not stock. It has forged pistons, aluminum heads, racing cam, intake, ignition & carb.
