I had 3 operations :/ first surgery was tonsils and tube in my ear . Second was pulled tooth it was four and third is knee surgery on June 17,2011. Dang I hope I won't get other surgery :p

Yes, joe5431, that stuff is terrible!!! It didn't even taste like cherries at all! It really tasted like grapefruit with cough syrup in it. Water? I'm surprised because the anesthesiologists don't want you to eat or drink before surgery? Maybe it was to wash down the horrible taste, haha!

I had to get my appendix removed during Christmas vacation. I stayed in the hospital for two weeks and a state away from home. Boy do I wish I could've gone home in just 4 hours!! xD

@CarlisleAwesomeness I had to undergo surgery nearly a year ago to get a polyp taken out. That procedure was outpatient, so I'm pretty sure I was out of the hospital after my surgery after four hours :-D

I had multiple surgeries in my life. I especially remember the biggest surgery I had when I was six turning seven. At 3:37, I had exactly the same sedative to help me fall asleep (well, it actually made me go to sleep, unlike with this girl!) I think it is cherry-flavoured Midazolam (or Versed as a brand name.)

I had surgery TWICE when I was 2 and 4. Haha. I don't remember much. But I remember when my dad was taking off my seatbelt but I kept putting them back on like if he takes off the top I put it back on and when he trys to take off the bottom I put it back on. Next Think I remember is once waking up in the room and 2 waking up in my bed. It doesn't hurt at all. Since it was on my neck I couldn't get up from my bed. Tip: Your sleeping so it NEVER hurts. :) Good Luck!

I had surgery when i was six, and instead of screaming and crying like the other children, i wanted to be friends with EVERYBODY. The nurses had to get the chief to come meet me cuz i was the only one who was happy and cheery in a children's hospital.

i had my tonsils/adenoids out when i was 12. I had complications so it was 12 hours before leaving for me. Then in november i had sinus surgery and i didn't wake up for hours and hours so it was a while before i left then to haha

Ok the nurse said here's your water and then the narrator/girl went she gave me something to drink. why not just say she gave me some water. And another thing is the nurse said since you had your tonsels out its gonna take a while. then the narrator/girl said because of the type of surgery i had i was able to go home the same day. why not just say because i had my tonsels out, i was able to go home the same day. gosh some of these videos i just dont see why they do that but then thats who i am!!

Video's like this really do help kids who do get scared, I went through it when I was 5, to have major bladder surgery and when I was 18, I had arthroscopic knee surgery. In both surgeries I came out a winner.

I believe she had her tonsils removed but they usually don't let you wear an oxygen mask because you can't breathe on your own you have a breathing tube and there is also alot of blood in your throat and that one nurse who gave her the sleepy medicine was not real smart you usually stay over in the hospital

she seems so nice and very brave!!!!:) I almost had to get my tonsils out. but i had a biopsy on my clavicle when i was 11 and an endoscopy proecdure when i was also 11. i was so nervous for the first one. the second one i was nervous for bu i realized that it wasn't going to be that bad so i wasn't worried anymore.
