Ours was a suprise baby, so we were both pretty much in shock when I found out I was pregnent. 4 tests and a blood test later we finally start getting excited. I think dad would have been much more excited when I told him if bubs was planned

My friend thought she was pregnant. And working in a pharmacy apparently automatically means I have to buy all of my friends tampons, condoms, midols, pregnancy tests... So I buy my friend a box of 3 tests. They're all positive but she blames that they're store brand, so I buy 2 (very expensive...) brand names. She doesn't believe it so we buy the new digital ones that have a big screen saying "PREGNANT". So when her bf gets home she says, "I THINK I'm pregnant..." Had her kid yesterday xD

The accuracy of things, even the store brands, is over 98%. So no need to retest. But it does make for a funny story.

@DadLabs we know the pregnancy test is fairly accurate but , explain why the pill didnt work for the dudes chick at 0.53 i thought that was more accurate than the test????

@ringwormts115 The pill is not 100% effective. Lots of women on the pill get pregnant every year.

I was about a month late and told my boyfriend... he didn't really react. He went with me to the store and bought me a test, completely cool and normal the whole time i might add, and then took me back to my apartment.

I took the test... damn thing was broken!!

I ended up not being pregnant, by the way.

@DadLabs Not to mention missing a month or two can happen very easily. Heck, some animals can stop gestating from too much stress or even absorb the fertilized embryo(s). I had a friend, she only had two to six random periods a year, Try explaining THAT to a guy... lol
