@JediaAssassin the closer we move to solar maximum(2013) the greater chance of a huge coronal mass ejection sent to the earth affecting our electrical systems. Odds are slim so i wouldn't bet on it happening

Today at 4:45 pm CST in Galmey Missouri 65779 low in the northern sky (we had a beautiful blue sky day) I saw what I will go to my death believing to be Comet Elenin go by. It was the most beautiful thing I ever saw. It was about the size of twenty airlines and had a tail about 100x longer than the comet core. All of it showed up as pure white. It was traveling extremely fast

Hi Joe If you google "Earth blasted by one of the most intense geomagnetic storms seen in years" - this was supposed to have happened late yesterday. Do you know about this and should we all start building Faraday cages? Also how will this impact things knowing planetary alignments and state of the full moon over the next few days. @alabama4188 It didn't happen for me--maybe because I turned off all of the tracking stuff (?)--or maybe because I'm no longer in the US (but just came from near Denver...hmmm). Google gives results based now on web history, email keywords, youtube history, etc.--they essentially are deciding what content we view based upon THEIR assessment of what we want, not our own. Google is big brother on steroids...

@stinkyoo I don't know what to make of this mysterious Comet Elenin but something seems to be agitating the sun in the exact line of fire that Elenin makes with us. On the 27th, the moon will also be exactly lined up with this sunspot as well. If the sun sent off a major coronal mass ejection from that sunspot region, it would hit Elenin first, then the moon and then us. Elenin wouldn't slow it down much but the moon would take a little bit of the blast for us. Wear your sunglasses....

Check out related subjects with the Denver Post and Mountain Guardian. They are on high alert (drill) with so many high priority personel to be in the DIA bunker that I lost count. I lived in Denver for 13 years and am now returning to live there. We may be in for alot more action as this region is rocking at this hour with steady M-class flares, one almost as strong as the X-flare, also producing a CME. These CMEs are not square with Earth, but we should get another glancing blow to Earth's magnetic field. One of the largest sunspots on record is going to be aimed at the Earth on Tuesday which is the same day that comet Elenin will be directly between us and the sun and Obama will be in Denver performing a Defcon 1 "drill"..... @dragnet53 Lucifer is not evil, I'ts latin for the planet Venus which they called the "morning star". Venus rises in the morning just before the other morning star does, our sun. Because it rose first, it is said to bring the light of the sun because the sun follows it shortly after. The reason it got a bad name in mythology is that the story went that it was trying to take the place of the sun in the sky. But then the true "sun of God" would arise and send it packing. That's all.
