beautiful snake louise ignore the rest of these people that dont understand these sweet reptiles. i love snakes ( wouldnt want anything that big cause of inexperience/ lack of money) but he's still really cut and yes that dog does seem very hyper
@louisetetreau - Believe what you want but they weren't meant to be pets and they never will. Basically, you're denying them their freedom by constricting them to basic home territory (sooner or later they'll turn on you, or die before they should due to depression). I hope you're proud of yourself. Bye.
@gOtHiCxAnGeLxox mine were all captive bred. if mine could survive out in the wild that is where they would be. i have never taken any animal from the wild and i never will. i have gone snake hunting and never ever brought one home. i am done talking to you, so it will be mute for you to answer.
@louisetetreau well lets just be honest, no disrespect but snakes are only no harm to their owner only if they are fed, a normal pet(dog) or (cat) for example would never be starving enuff to eat his master because they share a love for you. the puppy or dog was aware of the danger thats why it never stopped crying. can someone lay an infant child next to that snake?
@station4hiphop a responsible owner (which i am) would never put a child in danger. i a;ways keep in mind that snakes are wild animals and always will be. i always have someone around (another adult )when one of my large snakes are out. i always practice safety and i teach safety to others.
@louisetetreau no disrespect but snakes are only harmless if they are fed. the dog sensed the danger the entire time. but can you be 100% sure i can lay an infant next to that snake and it not being harmed as opposed to a pet cat or dog?
@station4hiphop i rpomise you the dog did not sense danger. that dog was a hyper spass and acted like that 24/7. we ended up giving the dog to a couple that had lots of land. they got a dog training coming once a week to try to clam that dog down. what you said about a dog not eating its owner cause it is hungry is correct but dogs do kill their owners and other family members for no apparent reason.
@station4hiphop no. i dont even know how to disable comments or screen them. all comments are welcome and i will try to answer all questions. you have a right to your opinion. i am not angry with you. i even understand where you are coming from.
...and also, Why the in the world does my Boa have to stretch 6" and make Physical contact with me just below my nose? Do they just love CO2 that much?
(^ Actual question, he doesn't do this with anyone else.)
It's weird he only does it with you that's for sure. I know lots of snakes like to move to the mouth/nose area, I heard it's because it's the place on your face giving off most heat. Mine tries to do that, but I gave up putting snakes too close to my face... seen too many pictures lols...
that is awesome. i truely believe if more people treated snakes like pets instead of a hobby that people would truely learn that they are just not the evil killing machines so many believe they are.if you keep a dog chained or caged all the time they become unsociable. it is the same with snakes.
they are actually kind of dry. snakes are not slimey at all. they are certainly not slippery. they are soft. i wish i could let you feel one of my snakes. you would be surprised.
THIS IS THE PROOF CONSTRICTORS ARE NOT DANGEROUS
see how harmless boa's and anacoda's are ???
i can handle a 9ft anaconda with my bare hands,.. no constrictor can take a not-defeatable-king like me

he's not kissing u he's just smelling lol... and snakes don't have emotions at all. Their brain isnt complex enough. They don't even feel pain.

It was 6 months ago, maybe, and I had my BCIxBCC in a public setting with half a dozen new people for him. (stressful, I'm sure..)
But anyway, my boy crawled person to person (4 people!) just to get back to me & rest for a good half hour. I kid you NOT.

Nice snake. How do the scales feel like? Are they slimy, slippery? Or they just feel like a fish's scales when you wipe the water off it?
