xake19, you are uneducated, uninformed, and judgemental. I don't appreciate your comments about my video. I am also sure that the people in the Catholic countries you mentioned do not appreciate how you talk to them about their religion - which is neither fair or true. Go spread your death propaganda elsewhere.
@aaron1983 sorry dude hes just saying the truth, the church doesnt care of us people,if they do theyll allow you to use contraceptives, they wont admit population in the philippines is a problem, what the fuck?!did you see those children in your video?
The problem is the Church. Only when you SECULARIZE your nation will you see economic prosperity. You have the same problem as all Catholic Banana Republics in South America. Secularism from Catholic mentality and institution like Spain, France, Italy, etc can create economic prosperity! All efforts to better the nation through government laws and business enterprises have been thwarted by the FAT Bishops and Cardinals. Embrace puritanical ideology instead of this "let's pray" attitude BS.
Abortion now! Free condoms and birth control pills NOW! Destroy the Catholic GRIP in government affairs to stop population explosion!
2,000,000 poor babies are born each year in this country because the Church told women to carry full term otherwise they will go to hell! A mythology and a lie!
They do this to maintain their power base (the poor). You don't see the Church feeding these children they said to poor women to carry full term right?
oh I'm crrying now...there's still hope guys! True, let's start with ourselves. Praying that the outcome of the coming elections will bring change to our beloved nation.
what do we do to help them to at least uplift them from their poverty? nothing! what do we do to change our country? nothing! we should start from our ownselves, i think this election time is the high time to act for a change. choose people that will truly help them and lift their dignity.

That person who cannot forgive! That person who has all the material position, but are not happy with their life! etc., That person who cannot sleep at night! etc "What benefit a man, when he gains the whole world and loses his own soul...
These Children are not a burden. We just needed to nurture them. And, give them opportunity to grow and live. but we cannot put their lives into our hands, we shouldnt decide if they should live or not. Each child has a gift that they will share to the world. If every one of us is treated as a burden of the world. I dont think that you will be able to right those comments
Why are are the fat Cardinals and Bishops not feeding these poor children? Because they are all Sleeping in their air conditioned lavish homes with servants feeding them. The bastards are no more holy than you or I. They are using the peasants and keeping them down to maintain their status quo. Keep the Philippines a banana republic and they keep their power grip. Catholic Europeans learned to get rid of them by becoming SECULAR. There is no room for religion in government. PERIOD !
The biggest crime here is this. Something should be done to the parents. These children did no ask to be brought to this world in dire poverty. Yet their parents knew of this and despite of this they decided to reproduce IRRESPONSIBLY. Worst, they keep doing it every 9 months. What kind of people are these? Monsters! nothing less really
unfortunately, all poor people need is education and family planning, but the all-powerful Catholic Church opposes the Philippine RH Bill, thinking that it will lead to promiscuity.

wow... this song popped up in the head last night... i first listened to it when i was little (now i am an English teacher). i will definitely let my students listen to this song!

it's really nice video, i'm going to used this song for our anniversary presentation.i was affiliated with one organization who was concern to our mother nature.
Edna Guiyab Camcam; Roman Cruz, Jr.; Andres Genito, Jr.; Gliceria Tantoco and Bienvenido Tantoco; Geronimo Velasco; Fabian Ver; Lucio Tan; Ignacio Jimenez; Baltazar Aquino; Jose Yao Campos; Roberto S. Its not too late yet. Stop the population explosion! Let the church stop from meddling with the program of the government to use whatever means to stop the bulging population.
yup this is my country philippines in the flesh while people fighting for power and money and killing some inocent people in mindanao neglecting the reality of life that our countrymen are striving hard living in the dump sites fighting for thier survival while the many enjoying the life of a price and princes... yup your ryt this is philippines in which you live a life of hipocrisy
I Inform you that this is not Philippines, Know why?Filipinos are good in english/best in english. Philippines has a white complexion, Sharp Nose, Some are tall some are small, if this is philippines, maybe this is in the early stone age, I will never believe that this is philippines, I know that!
If you haven't encountered poverty in the Philippines i'll tell you what get your ass off the couch and do yourself a favor go outside and open your eyes! By then you'll be able to lick reality! whew...
You said it very welll...I lived here in Tokyo Japan, ang i am very sad pag-umuuwi ako ng Pinas at nakakakita ako ng ganito,, Kawawa naman yung mga taong di sinuwerte satin.
Pero gusto lang po silang ang dumikta at to control the lives of Filipino people.
heard dis song again omg i cnt stop cryin!remind me of my chilhood,my heritage,my origin!even ur abroad how bad ur own country is inspite of all crime, poor people, hardship, corrupt politicians,im proud of my country mis d smell of smokey mountain luv those street kids who got free will 2 work live support their family earn money 2 survived their day&got d wil 4 2moro u people out der@smokey mountain dnt giv up b strong god is w/u!
Good Job! I love my country and inspite of the hardships its our own little way of helping solve each other's day-to-day problems which make us feel unforgotten, and for the continuing support for our chidren, they are the key to our transformation and as long as we protect them.... we're nearly there.
You can help reduce poverty in the Philippines! Volunteer with and send contributions to CENTER FOR COMMUNITY WORK AND PEOPLE'S DEVELOPMENT, call +632 7141835 or send email to my yahoo address - ccwpdi @ yahoo dot com . Thank you and mabuhay! Also view my videos, click on my user name and then the videos list.
i love this song! i used to always listen to this song when i was a kid. but i didn't really listen to the words until now. i didn't realize how moving it was. and their beautiful harmonization adds to it. it'd be perfect for a choir to perform it. i also heard gawad kalinga (if u've heard of it) is releasing a movie called "paraiso". check it out!
Hi 5 dude. This lil video really shows the reality of Philippines, but even though there is the tough reality of poverty you can still see the smiles on peoples faces. Awsome. It really touched me. I miss P.I now.
I agree that many of our problems deal with corrupt politicians. Most of Filipinos are not corrupt but are corrupted by money and power that these politicians have and want to amass or protect. In my opinion, I never vote the same official twice. There are many talented people who can run, why keep on voting one? Twice is already a temptation for greed and power.
its a very sad reality, and we can help. My only concern is that, dont blame everything in the government. Not all politicians are corrupt. And if we can do something little, dont wait for the government, lets do it on our own..
Why not blame the government? They create this and cant dealt it. Unless if they change the policy sa monetary system. Of course not all politicians are corrupt but most of them ay corrupt na.
Jesus said in John 16:33"In this world you shall have trouble...but be of good cheer.I have overcome the world."We live at the very last stages of human history.Jesus is coming to wipe tears from our eyes.Wait on the Lord.
Thank you for the video. This song is great. Watching the video and listening to the words of the song make me think of the people back home in the Philippines. The Philippines is such a wonderful country that seems to perpetually struggle with the plague of poverty for various reasons. If all Filipinos were united in the struggle, poverty could be eradicated! It can be done! Long live the spirit of the Filipino!
corrupt politician are part of the problem. but don't u remember that back in the day when spaniards, americans used up most of our resources...IMO that made a big toll to our economy since then.
thanks for the video. I felt shameful for only watching music videos of artists. This video triggered the grim reality of the poor in the Philippines.
o filipinos, forward thinking yea..your country has bloody talents, not only in music, but in IT and medicine as well...and am sure in many other fields....peace and respect.

I live in this land called paraiso,
In a house made of cardboard floors and walls.
I learned to be free in paraiso,
Free to claim anything i see.
Matching rags for my clothes,
Plastic bags for the cold.
And if empty cans were all i have, what a joy.
I never fight to take someone
Else's coins and live with fear
Like the rest of the boys.

Return to a land called paraiso,
A place where a dying river ends.
No birds there fly over paraiso,
No space allows them to endure.
The smoke that screens the air,
The grass that's never there.
And if i could see a single bird, what a joy.
I try to write some words and create
A simple song to be heard
By the rest of the world.

I Inform you that this is not Philippines, Know why?Filipinos are good in english/best in english. Philippines has a white complexion, Sharp Nose, Some are tall some are small, if this is philippines, maybe this is in the early stone age, I will never believe that this is philippines, I know that!

Pero gusto lang po silang ang dumikta at to control the lives of Filipino people.

Good Job! I love my country and inspite of the hardships its our own little way of helping solve each other's day-to-day problems which make us feel unforgotten, and for the continuing support for our chidren, they are the key to our transformation and as long as we protect them.... we're nearly there.

i love this song! i used to always listen to this song when i was a kid. but i didn't really listen to the words until now. i didn't realize how moving it was. and their beautiful harmonization adds to it. it'd be perfect for a choir to perform it. i also heard gawad kalinga (if u've heard of it) is releasing a movie called "paraiso". check it out!

YEAH THATS TRUE
DarkMoonRakizz08 4 years ago

Long live the spirit of the Filipino!
thesaint11006 5 years ago
well i think the corrupt politician is the one to be blame because they are the reason why we are living in poverty

corrupt politician are part of the problem. but don't u remember that back in the day when spaniards, americans used up most of our resources...IMO that made a big toll to our economy since then.

thanks for the comment! Well don't just be sad you can do something little everyday for them and in one year that will be a big help!

thanks for the video. I felt shameful for only watching music videos of artists. This video triggered the grim reality of the poor in the Philippines.
