  • estoy aqui por la pump it up

  • amazing

  • My grandmother loves it

  • Minha avó adora brahms e Liszt

  • Muito Belo......

  • :-bd nice:D

  • Are there two person missing from the orchestra?

  • It reminds me on Charly Chaplin in "The great dictator", working in a barber-shop, shaving a client together with Brahms, very funny, do you remember?

  • @charlottenburg09 Yeah, one of the Greatest scenes of the Film. Charly don't need any Words to be funny, only his facial expression, and his motions.

  • BRAVOO

  • sorry..but the main theme..it sounds too much italian. I think this piece can be played best only by people from Hungary, or those living close to its borders, eg. Croats, Serbs, Gypsies...

  • B E A UTIFUL!!!

  • Vittorio Cecchetto conducting "Città Murata Orchestra" live at Teatro Sociale Cittadella 2007..... Description guys... description...

  • Seriously? On #5, instruments were badly out of sync, particularly at 1:28, not enough contrast between loud and soft sections and between fast and slow sections, and the accents were weak on the notes at the end of the fast sections. I was not impressed at all. Even the Yorba Linda rendition outdid this one; that doesn't take much. At least #6 was listenable. 1.5 stars for #5 and 3 stars for #6.

  • @757scott

lol who gives a shit its a great song!

  • @757scott ..and the percussionist was sleeping @ 00:49 .. yes I found one, too :)

  • E mrekullueshme, perfekte, fantastike!

  • please tell me the name of conductor.

  • Music Art?? This is piece of Heaven!! Wonderful.

  • love the beginning part of this piece

  • Epic!

    M-A-G-Y-A-R-O-R-S-Z-Á-G!

  • The SOUND is fantastic!

  • Brahms is the BEST!!!

  • hahaha it makes me happy :D viva brahms

  • brividabadibidi :D

  • clap fail

  • WooooHoooo HARDCORE Ave Brahms ;). Yes it is perfect and beautiful.

  • Hungarian Dance V!!!!

  • pourqoi deux chaises de vides?????

    par contre sik excellentes

    j adore

  • Wow! This is truly the best performance I've heard of this piece!

  • Complimenti!! sei molto bravo.

  • Great!!!!!!!!

  • Ohh, just... can't... stop... my... foot... from... beating lol You see, even with a "small" ensemble that piece still has its majesty. But yeah, this piece was meant to be huge, and I must admit I heard better performances, starting by the Fulda Orchestra. The brass lines are just not as present as they should be. Well, yet, nice performance.

  • this one is my favorite. it reminds me of the three little pigs.

  • Ich bin kein Opernfan.

    Aber ich liebe Ungarn.

Und das Lied ist Typisch Ungarisch.

  • @slidebuster

  • Fantastic

  • I think that the simbal should be louder

  • My favorite!

  • what is point of dislike this video?

  • i love this orchestra. they feel and play nicely this song. they're so good and they feel the emotion of this song. especially their pianist :D

  • love it.

  • I love how Cecchetto puts alot of fluidity and grace in his movements. But when it gets to sharp point in the music he emphasizes the flicks with his wrist. (lol dont really know too much about classical music lingo) SOOOOORRRRRYY!

  • I always had that question.. why is there a maestro since everybody is looking at their papers when performing?? I don't think I've ever seen anybody looking at the maestro when playing.. :p

  • @marieclairexan i was asking myself the same question! i guess its just in case someone gets lost in the music so the person can look at the conductor to catch up..i dunno just my 2 cents lol

  • @marieclairexan The musicians don't make it obvious but they do look at the conductor with their peripherals. The conductor is there so that the whole orchestra will stay together and not become a jumble mess of soloists. The conductor also can instruct specific instructions to the orchestra while they're performing. :)

  • I like the conductor, Vittorio Cecchetto...

  • wonderful !!!!!!!!!

  • Ahh, music to draw and write to. :)

  • Oh God... another BRAHMMY!

  • Look at the first and second chair violins at 2:07. So awesome :D

The violins sure were serious though, they weren't trying to make it sound pretty. Great video

  • im not sure which section. but one of the instrumental sections are off. other than that its ok.

  • Bravo! Bravíssimo!

  • boi bine

  • I love this song along with the movement The Ruins of Athens. (I played the Ruins of Athens on my bassoon. It sounded AWESOME

  • where's 3 [lol] no one has posted it... and there are 5 postings for brahms symphony 3 3rd movement--- some one please post the rest of it :)- especially the finale or 4th movement- Bruno Walter is great but as long as it's alive and LOUD !

  • such a great sound

  • This music is passion from within

    Beautiful

  • They do it with smiles on their faces.

  • 2:12 drumset wat

  • That Was A Great Great Performance!!

  • This conductor looks like Liszt :) at least from behind

  • @LeChasseNeige my gf looks like megan fox from behind...

  • @LeChasseNeige

    Nope! Chuck Testa.

  • This is the best performance of no.5 that I have ever heard. Every person on that stage should be proud.

    Erkel Ferenc*****

    Liszt Ferenc*****

    Egressy Béni*****

  • Kleine Bühne, grosse Musik........

  • This is AMAZING! beautifully played!

  • congratulations!

  • gyönyörű MAGYAR TÁNCOK

  • the double bass players did a few errors but the piece is outstanding :)

  • Very elegant-- you should compare it, though with DAVID GARRETT's fierce version- the one he plays with the Frankfurt Symph.Orchestra-- you will love brahms even more. Garrett=virtuoso assoluto! Tschüs from germany

  • lindo, lindo *--*

  • bellissima!!!

  • Superb performance...!

  • fabuloso

  • Congratulations from Hungary!

  • zuvies grybas

  • =) i love this music type =)=)=)

  • uuuooooooooooohhhhh!!! :D

  • Amazing Composition!!!!!!!!

  • what can i say...i'ts universal!!

  • that's mindblowing O__o

    I just love Brahms <3

  • Brahms is such a genius!

  • I just love this music...superb...

  • Brava!

  • Quality is not a matter of seize but feeling. If one can feel the passion of Johannes Brahms or the peoples that inspired him, the gypsies, you can play it!

It is a matter of ups and downs of fast and slow that makes the difference.

Have a look on the orchestra how many tables with notes are there standing,. the more tables, the worse the orchestra.

hungarians can play it without notes and even better than the ney york state orchestra with notes ;-)

  • Very small orchestra. But very good.

  • @instrumentgenius1 indeed

one of the best interpretations on YT

  • To be frank,i really like this music.

  • AMAZING!!!

  • Bellissimo!!

  • superba...trezeste emotii chiar si in cei ce nu stiu ce-i muzica simfonica dar in schimb stiu totul edspre "vedete".iti face pielea gainii....iti aluneca pur si simplu prin vene, iti amorteste simturile, iti trezeste dorinta de a trai.

  • amazing..is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

  • my SUPERB type of music!!!

  • te hülye vagy bazdmeg

  • BRAVO!!!!

  • So wonderfully played! How my Mother used to love this music!

    MotherIlona56

  • very happy!

  • It is not so good, how it may be

  • la la la laaaaaaaaaaa la la la la la la laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Best one so far.

  • Very good... well done...

  • FranzFerencLiszt. Thanks for the Playlist.

  • Chaplin: the barber

  • Indeed!

  • Thank you very much!

  • amazing!!

  • this is in a lot of cellphone's ringtones, lol

  • Why must you always strain to hear the cymbal part in all of the recordings you hear of this piece? That swell at the end of the phrase leads right into those hits and you can barely hear them.

  • wow they are soo good, and with only just a small symphony,

  • Nicely executed by the Orchestra but what a terrible conductor - He's conducting the ntoes not the rhythm and dynamics. For shame!

  • Beautiful! Cecchetto is the incarnation off

    Ferenz Liszt!

  • I cannot get bored of it. :D

  • it's a very good version, and it's not a "song" what with it not havn't any f*ing words... it's a piece of music. you ignorant swine

  • fantastic

  • This verison is to fast!

  • while saying it is too fast may be subjective, one can be sure that it is quite out of tune and not really together... I love the spirit though.

  • yes it actually is a bit too fast, but it kind of reminds me of a version of it played in the french commedy "Le grand blond avec une chaussure noire" (with Pierre Richard)

  • cual es el tema de infielmente tuya?

  • É lindo!!! Música é isso e ponto.

  • Have you seen the great dictator by charly chaplin? He shaved a customer by this music!

  • that was pretty funny

  • especially the movement of the razor at 1:27...!

  • The best Hungarian Dance I've heard would be from Paul Mauriat.

Have a listen because it's spectacular.

  • great stuff

  • I dont understand shit about classical music, but this one`s is BRILLIANT

So exciting, kicks ass big time...

  • I find it funny people think they have to understand any music history or theory to appreciate classical music.

Not saying people shouldn't study such things, but to think you have to is silly™

  • @michaeijd

This isn't classical Music, it's Romantic.

    Don'tcha love irony?

  • It's true. I suggest another good one Shostakovich Waltz 2. Hope you like it.
