I have a question, because I heard you say that you use your PS3 with your u2711. I was thinking of getting the u2711 for my PS3 because my current TN monitor really is horrible. Being that the u2711 goes beyond the Resolution of 1080p, will the u2711 stretch the image of the playstation games or just make black borders? Thanks

Coming from someone who used Windows for 6 years, and Mac for 2, I still find Mac OS X to be much better in performance, appearance, and productivity. As for gaming, yes: Windows. Nice sub, I used it in unison with my Alesis M520's and I would suggest you doing the same with the same or similarly priced studio monitors, the difference in clarity and enjoyment is through the roof on my end especially since you can turn the sub on or off for when you need reference quality or enjoyment

there is one way you can make it better mate, get 3 27" monitors and get eyefinity your graphics card can support it. you will need some adapters though but that can be at any computer store, or as you will know officeworks or jb-hi-fi other than that sick set up man i subbed because i like what i see thanks mate.

Overall very good choices.

2 things I could think of upgrade-wise:

* Like you already pointed out, mechanical keyboard (DASKeyboard or a Filco), no gimmicks like a screen or media buttons, just quality

* If you don't use the Mamba wireless much, I'd consider getting a Deathadder which doesn't use the inferior Philips Twin Eye sensor.

And you could get a cable-box for under your desk.
