  • Number 5 is ALIVE!!!!

Sorry its just the picture at the beginning made me think of Johnny 5, cute little robot.

  • The most interesting photos are those which show parts of the rover.

  • fucking nice . I love it . I want to be dear.

  • It's maximum temprature is... 150? And minum is the same with minus right?

  • This is not real gay guy.........

  • It's great that we have reached the point where you can see photos from Mars or Saturn in the same day they're taken!

  • This is so fake, where are the Aliens?

  • ...no one ever said aliens were in this video

  • @angelmassb alien is in your ass

  • More like in Uranus

  • lol

  • boring

  • how!?

  • ★★★★★

  • What they don't mention about the meteorite weathering is that there are huge sandstorms/ windstorms on mars. Those overtime can easily weather meteorites in that way!

  • Not so. They are talking about the hollowing out ("cavernous weathering") of the thing, wind and sand really only wear things on their outsides.

  • Not true... Look at arch structures in wind eroded areas. The erosion on the rock can be explained by wind and sand changing directions on rough surfaces. Wind and sand only wear things down evenly on the outside of smooth surfaces, not a rough surface of a meteorite. They can dig out holes and erode things like in the video on rough surfaces. Furthermore, that meteorite has been there for an extremely long time allowing for differential weathering from sandstorms.

  • go science !!! and technology ....

  • Something about seeing tire tracks on another world just fills me with awe. It makes me proud to be a human, sometimes I wish more things could make me feel that same kind of pride.

  • @uscdave1124: Wait until those are replaced with foot prints :) Best part is, we have space borne telescopes that would be able to image the astronauts that land on mars to satisfy the "we never went to the Moon!" types whole simply change the name, but not the tune ;p

  • @uscdave1124

I feel that way when I look at the hands of a new born baby and think of what they're capable of achieving one day, given a proper education.

  • @uscdave1124 I agree to that degree, though I wouldnt be too excited if I saw a shopping mall in this planet.

  • Great photos! I really wonder how it would be to walk on another planet...It must be a very strange feeling to know that you are actually one of the only living things on a planet.. O.o

  • yeah right i would love to have this feeling months away from your home and seeing things no human ever saw before

  • Ehh there's no life on mars :/

  • hope it doesnt get stuck like spirit :(

  • ah Mars my favorite mystery planet of them all :D

  • wow, Golombeck's parrents telegraphed that one, Golom go get some frickin sun.

  • how long does it take for a message to go from earth to the rover on mars?

  • Depending on where Mars and the earth are in their orbits, it could take from four to twenty minutes!

  • @RUcringe i think about 18 minutes

  • @RUcringe Depends on the distance between Earth and Mars. :)

  • weve already been on mars have any of you seen the movie rocket man with harlan williams?

  • Hope my kids are the ones to put a foot on mars.. they are 5 and 8.

  • i ope i can go with em lol im 13 SPACE WOOD BE AWESOME

  • isn't 12 km like a 10-15 year drive? I gotta say JPL, you've got balls.

  • This is so exciting!!

  • "eatin out" 1:29 Giggity!

  • 2:19 what is that?

  • @jakewars a rock on Mars

  • if you're wondering about the perfect circle ground into it, the rover drills into the rock to check the composition.

  • Super amazing

  • "6 years into a 90 day mission."

    Aha I love that. :)

  • LOL

  • coool

  • hah! amazing.

  • Opportunity is on Meridiani Planum, -5 Mars Longitude, Spirit is on 175 Mars Longitude, it will be the comparison of Tokyo and New York distance.

  • I thought one of them was stuck because it drove into a ditch?

  • @TheMisterYang No no. It's stuck in a traffic jam.

  • how far are oppourtunity and spirit from each other perhaps oppourtunity could rescue him...
