@zetakon In the case that one of the players is grabbing the other, if BOTH players are hit by something else (another player, item, in THIS case the explosion from one of Snake's explosives) both players will receive damage, however one player will receive the full knockback of that hit whereas the other will receive no knockback. The one who receives knockback is the one whose controller port is higher (closer to 4). This is important to keep in mind when facing/using Snake.
