  • So You Have Been Natural for 6months , did you do the big chop or no

  • U have fierce hair !

  • & what colour dye is that?

  • urrgh wish i could feel your hair! how do you keep it so soft (assuming) and bouncy??

  • Okay i just started going natural last year.. and lately I've been very frustrated because i really can't tell if I'm doing the right thing(I think i am). My hair is really soft when wet but after that it becomes dry without shine and looks just old and nappy. I didn't make the big chop and i don't think i have any relaxer left to it. I'm not used to my hair looking rough so its becoming quite difficult to keep up. I'm also running out of hats and head warmers loll Please help.

  • I just loved the metaphor you used about our hair dancing with itself. Makes me smile :)) and I'll remember that the next time I get a single strand knot instead of getting upset ;)

  • I love your hair & your videos :) I am ghanaian and togolese.

  • your Ghanaian !!!???: )

  • @sunshinebooboo1234 yea she is Ghanian!!! go ghana!!

  • @naaty322 Thank you !! Me too : )

  • hi!! do you know of any natural hair colouring products for highlights? I love your highlight, so I'm wondering if it's a rinse-out or a natural coloring hair regimen. Thanks hun

  • LOL, everyone's your auntie! I was born and raised in the states and went to Ghana at age 14 for the first time. I couldn't understand why we were calling all these people uncle and auntie!

  • Big Up to GH!!!! :) Love the vid dear. Listening to you talk makes me miss London :( I live in the states now. Great info in the vid. Definitely will be doing more protective styles..... knots are crazy on this head right now.... xoxo

  • you are adorable <3

  • Thank you, I guess I wasn't being as attentive as I should have been while watching...lol Just got a little scared thinking maybe I wasn't doing the right things for growth, but again thank you...I did go back and re-watch the video listening a lot better this time...lol Thanks and LOVE your hair.

  • @chocolateteacher1 Thank you :) and just be patient with your hair, continue to care for her xoxo

  • What about the necklace you are wearing in the video, where can I purchase one like it? This is my second post asking about the necklace ;-)

  • @babenell0 oh sorry, i must have missed it, this is my mother's from Ghana... it's very old

  • Would really appreciate if you did your length check with an actually tape measure.

  • I noticed that when I wore my hair out all the time I got bumper crops of single strand knots. I wear protective styles 85% of the time and now they are minimized I get very few.

  • How is your hair in this video, Is that a wet or dry twist out / flat twist out?

  • Yay for a fellow Ghanaian :) ! My biggest issue right now is single strand knots and over-manipulating. I will defintely be going back through your vids to get some ideas for protective styling.

  • Did you transition before you big chopped because I"m 6 months natural and my hair is NOO where as long and full as yours. I do know that hair grows at a different pace for different people, but I just can't believe your hair has grown THAT long in six months after a TWA...lol

  • @chocolateteacher1 I'm guessing you skipped the beginning of the video where i explained all that.... but yes i transitioned for 2 years.

  • brap brap Ghana Girl in the house, love your hair!!! and u r uk based too!! *Subbed* gonna watch all ya vids so i can see where to get my bits and bobs lol

  • @CurlyWurlyFiga zoop zoop lol thank you

  • Great video! What about the necklace, where or on which website can I purchase it? I'm in love with it.

  • you are so pretty!

  • love the HAIR!!!!!!im 6months natural and my hair has grown so much CHECK it out @BEAUTYFASHIONTUBE!!!

  • Hey Girl. I love love your hair. It is so nice to find somebody who is Ghanian that has natural hair on YouTube. I am Ghanian as well. Do you speak twi? Keep it up with your hair. It looks great!!!

  • what is your hair texture?

  • Girl! I hear you on them single stranded knots!! My hair strands does dutty wine with its self and possibly azonto lol this is my theory, and Ima stand by it.

  • @BooCherryKim lmao.... i agree girl!! i really do

  • omg I recognize those earrings from etsy! You were quicker than me in getting them. lol

  • @vkcsweetie14 yes, my sister makes them ..onemenaturally :)

  • All that grew in 6 months??????????????

  • @iloveseattle123 thank you sister x

  • I love your accent and your hair is beautiful, can't wait until mine gets longer, almost at my 1 year mark lol

  • Hi! When you went natural with your hair, what was the starting length?

  • thumbs up if you subscribed because of her accent.

  • That hair! I love itttttt

  • your beautful <3

  • @lauren19965 Thank you :)

  • I'm Ghanaian too and I never buy shea butter. Whenever my mom goes, she knows to bring me back shea butter, black soap, those long bath sponges and packs of braids.

  • Hi I went to ur aunt's website and I wanted to know which would be the best buy to help get rid of stretch marks???I seen all the different oils but was kinda confused on which would be better...

  • Beautiful hair! And very sexy song...I love Malik Yusef, I met him once, got a pic with his sexy self too! LOL

  • solange would kill for your hair! hehe :)

  • In one of your recent videos, you mentioned your hair shedding. Did you manage to resolve this? If so, how? My hair has started to shed over the last 2 weeks and I really have no idea why.

  • What is your hair type?

  • so I'm half Ghanian!!!! but I came on to comment about how you just twist each side of your hair at night ! thanks so much for mentioning that! i've started using henna and my hair has gotten longer so i've noticed that if i braid my hair each night its just looking thin and elongated. i'm gonna start using the twist and pin method! thanks so much !

  • Your hair looks amazing!!!

  • Omg what song is that on the length check ? Beautifulll hair by the way (:

  • I'm white, so I might not be able to compare my hair type to yours but I can definitely say that you're one of the most beautiful girls I've ever seen! :)

  • hi laila, so happy i found u nd subscribeddd! i cant wait to b all natural (im transitioning) wats the song playing at the end mama?

  • lovvvvvvvvve your hairrrrrrrrrr.....yesssssss:-)

  • I will be ordeing some.....THANKS....I like it that you keep it in the family...love yeah....!!!!!!

  • LOVE your hair how do you get it so full.....what do you use....OMG YOU ARE A BEAUTIFUL BLACK WOMEN. LOVING IT!!!!!!!!

  • One thing is sure, you definitely have tremendous growth! But I totally agree with you that the amount of growth you have may appear differently on someone with a different stature than yours so do you mind translating that length to inches please?thanks

  • how did you get this much growth in 6 months? did u transition or did u actually big chop?

  • @erosalexen She transitioned, but I'm not sure for how long.

  • @AmberAuNaturel thank you miss amber.

  • @erosalexen did you not listen to the video? in the very begining like 1min in the video she adresses what your asking...smh

  • @pf243 ummm no i didn't listen t the entire video. I skimmed parts, not to mention that i have to have undivided attention in order to understand her due to her accent. If you can't be of help how about you omit your supposedly smart ass responses. Thank you.

  • @erosalexen You actually confirmed the fact that you didnt listen to the video....and you have the nerv to answer back with an attitude lol smh. @FusionofCulture sorry for all the time spent filming and editing videos for people like her who have such a hard time pressing play and have to use allll the energy in the world to listen to your very difficult accent.

  • @pf243 i believe in defending myself; nothing else.I believe you are taking this como entretenimiento cuando apenas tienes con que hacer en tu vida. Not at all did my comment mean to disappreciate her video. Just something that happens. You may reply to this response but im not spending

  • @pf243 my time on you after. If anyone shouldve been bothered it would've been her n such isnt the case. She has a beautiful accent which i have not insulted. Im sure she wouldve thought "dang i said it in the vid and they still ask"yet she would've taken the time to reply nicely unlike yourself. Focus on your mistakes from now own and not others. GOD bLESs.

  • @erosalexen: while I agree that nobody should be sarcastic towards you,and nobody has the right to treat you disrespectfully because we're all learning, you must admit that it's somewhat frustrating to have someone ask a question that was clearly answered in the video! anyways some of us need to learn how to be civil towards others, and just in case you haven't got the answer already, she said she transitioned for 2 years, chopped off the relaxed ends and this is 6 months after that chop hth:-)

  • @thebabyk7 thank you. And yea, I am conscious of it. Having someone ask you something you just mentioned in a video is like asking someone you are having a face 2face conversation what did they just say after them talkign to yousay for 5min. non stop. So i understand and am conscious of the frustation. Thank you for understanding though, aswell as for replying about the transitioning time. take care!

  • @erosalexen She transitioned for 2 and a half, then she big chopped and it's been 6 mths since she has bc and been fully natural. Hope u understand that. Later!

  • @erosalexen I meant to say 2 and a half years. Sorry typo. Later!

  • @fashionguru07 itsok. thanks :)

  • yes I'm Ghanaian too and I get free n real shea butter too !!:) n yea everyone's your aunt or uncle

  • @lifevirgin9 oh my father is from Egypt to it refers to my Ghanaian, Egyptian & English fusion :) thanx for noticing. No one's asked me before

  • @FusionofCultures Oh wow! That's pretty neat! So do you speak Arabic?

  • Love love love your hair!

  • @shareckia Thank you xoxo

  • luv u and ur hair is this a flat twist out or reg 2 strand? 1st or 2nd day hair?

  • I love your channel & your hair! You are so beautiful with such a great personality!!! Simply GORGEOUS!!!

  • @CurlyShan09 Thank you :)

  • Do you wash/cowash your hair in sections? I think doing this for me can help prevent your hair knotting. So you are able to fully detangle and can airdry without hair strands wrapped around each other causing the knots.

  • love all your videos...check out my channel please I transitioned for 7 months before my big chop...now I'm 5 months completely natural

  • BEAUTIFUL DAAHHLING!!!

  • It's funny hearing you talk about single strand knots (I call them "sister knots") because I was thinking about washing my hair today just to prevent them.

Ever since I've straighten my hair, I've had so many in my hair but they rarely show up when my hair is in it's natural state.

It's like you said, some people are different.

  • You are just so cute...I love your videos they always put me in a good mood. Beautiful hair by the way...I will get there one day lol

i never intended to stay natural, my hair had become soo weak from straightening with a hot iron, and i decided to grow it and go back to the relaxer, but after watching your videos + pressure from my sis who's been natural since 2008, i doubt i'm ever going to relax my hair again! thanks for the videos!!!
