It really upset me with all the people in there..I remember hearing them cry when I needed to go to the supply closet...It's terrible the way that they treat them...I made freinds with one of the patients who was there for trying suicide...he was still sane..It was terrible.It still haunts me.

It's on descano street, near the courthourse, just a block away from the new renovated los amigos rehab center. We left at 8:00pm and came back at 12:00 am.

It's very dark, some videos i've seen on here have light i the buildings, dont know why, but there is no light at all. The funnest part is playing hide and seek with the rent-a-cops.

Lol, I live across the street from this place. It's an old hospital, and actually there's a police station located inside of the facility. Firemen and SWAT teams practice inside of there and it hadn't been gated off so long. It was only like 10 years ago that it got gated and boarded up. We used to skate in there all the time.

This is the first I've ever known about this abandoned asylum in Downey. My friend just called me on the phone and asked if I knew anything about it because she overheard some teachers discussing it (who had also been run out by police). I've lived in Downey since 1984 and graduated from Warren in 1995. And like others have stated, the music both on the intro and at the end doesn't make for any eerie atmosphere....AT ALL. LOL.
