I agree that Alan doesn't get enough to do in these HP films and even a ton of the prince's tale scenes were cut out in DH2...IMHO, they were afraid Alan would dominate the films...and they would be right...just think an extra 10 or 15 minutes of Alan on screen and everything else would be anti-climax (so to speak LOL). He is brilliant !!!

the 7th book was just telling the end of the story, but the 2nd part of the 7th movie is all about snape & lily...even the theme song of the movie is titled "lily's theme"... you know what i mean. ;)

He's speaking, slow, measured words, each with its own weight and depth, and suddenly he pauses and you feel like you're hanging over the edge of a cliff, about to fall, and at the last moment he swoops in with the next word and catches you, only to drag you down that road of sweet torture once again... Watching Alan Rickman perform Snape is not a passive experience, it's a thrill ride ♥♥♥ Watching Alan Rickman perform anything is a treat!

The film of Half-Blood Prince was annoyingly different from the film. More snape scenes were adding in the book, and Snape only had his main moment at the end. The Prince's Tale will hopefully make up all of that.

@Snapelove14 Sie sagen das Snape ein Geheimnis mit sich trägt und das sie das auch zeigen wollten. Als Snape Harry das Erste mal anschaut, erkennt man das etwas viel Komplexeres vorgeht als man weiß. Alan Rickman meint, das er denkt nur JKR sich sicher ist wie er ist. Manchmal ist so und dann macht er etwas das deine meinung über ihn komplett ändert. Dann wird noch gesagt, das JKR während des 1. Films ein Gespräch mit Alan hatte, der etwas über Snape weiß, was sonst niemandem gesagt wurde.

I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, especially the books mean a lot to me, and Severus was always one of my favorite characters. He's so complex. And Half Blood Prince strayed from the book SO MUCH, it pisses me off. And Alan got so little screen time. The TITLE is even about Severus. No, it IS him. I'm upset.

GOSH..i had so much expectation for this film...but DaRn it...i was so disappointed...lots of important dialogues of Snape has been cut short and the Severus Snape scenes i was expecting didn't even make it to the movie..!!
