@sosaley, thanks for the info. Yes been playing piano for 40 years, Liszt, Rachmaninov, Prokofiev, Scriabin, Ravel, Debussy, Brahms...and yet I never saw the wavy lines. I hang my head in shame:-)
problem with music like this, is that if you say it is rubbish, you are accused by some of being narrow minded. Ultimately I suppose whether you like a piece or not can only be subjective...but musically I find this to be devoid of any interest whatsoever. Except I am curious what the wavy lines mean...
@ukdavepianoman , Buddy, you have "piano" in your name and don't know what the wavy lines mean? they're are an indication as to continue playing the figure (the series) as explained before but perhaps with the adition of a half pedal or a pedal tremolo, although indications arent' clear, but it is either one of those two
Ah, so you're working on your PhD thesis in philosophy for Princeton with an emphasis on aesthetics and will be attending the Curtis Institute to study composition this fall? Well, in that case, continue!
@OverFjell Be cautious with your comments - his pedantry and pretention are relentless. I can count on two hands (a rather daunting feat for me) how many times he's made mention of his PhD thesis in philo. It's a glorious thing and doesn't at all reek of tepid parenting.

Any particular reason why we should give a fuck about your opinion, though?

@John11inch the same reason why anybody should give a damn about your opinion. Now let's end this argument; go like that piece, I don't.

@ajwiebe Yeah, I've seen him before on a forum, slates everyone who disagrees with him and condescends to a degree I never thought possible.
