I feel bad for Rihanna for being in a situation where people watch every step you move. I believe Rihanna did a collaboration with Chris to show that she already forgave him, but that doesn't mean she will ALLOW him to beat her up again. Rihanna is young, she is just 24, and she is such a superstar. If you hold a grudge against a person working in the same industry as you are, you will not ever fully move on. Maybe Rih wanted to move on, maybe Rih wanted to be free of this "guilt" she's feeling.

What I do think is that maybe she over analyzed the situation the text could have been a text from is ex but something that wasnt intimate, unless he was acting suspicious which she said "he was". I don't know I just think the situation was provoked more then her consistently bringing up the text.

she gained a lot of maturity out of this experience and I believe some of the words she uses about abuse are from those who may have worked with her after the experience, so she is like a new person, and a lot of people seeing this can learn from what she is saying, 'cause it can apply to a lot of different things.

Some here think its OK for a woman to hit a man. But thats FALSE!!! That isn't it either. Even if she did hit him. And if she was about to do it again. He should have stopped her hand and pulled over and got her out or maybe shoved her out of the car. and drove away. I think that would have been ok.

Chris Brown should be ashamed of what he did. I think at this point he is. Let it go you guys...he has paid the price, a huge price. If you can't forget, thats understandable, but at least forgive. The bible says " Ye among you without sin, let him be the first to cast the stone". None of us are perfect. We have all done stupid and unexplicable things. As long as you know what you did and truly are regretful of it and have paid the price, forgiveness should be plausible. Shes forgiven him.

Wow, she articulates her position SO well in this interview, and she is beautiful inside and out. She seems to be so willing to reach out to other young women/girls in that situation, and she answered every question - even the awkward or highly personal ones - with such honesty it seems. She is so commendable and intelligent - she should receieve nothing but praise for the way she dealt with things. And stupid fan girls who love Chris Brown need to grow the hell up because they don't understand.

It's true, women are physiologically weaker, which means the regular female is weaker than the regular male. So even if she hit him, she couldn't have damaged him enough for it to be AT ALL like what he did to her. It's like, she is small and thin and he's well built and strong, he's obviously got an advantage over her. Besides, he was cheating on her, he had a text from a girl he didn't want her to see. All she was doing was confronting him: doesn't that make sense in a rela? Face it like a man

Even IF she did hit him first or said something that was really really awful, he didn't just hit her, he BEAT her.
He choked her- which takes some effort-, punched her multiple times, bit her twice, shoved her....it was just over kill. If it was just one punch out of rage, I could've sympathized with Chris a little more, BUT that wasn't the case.

Because life is too short to be calling someone a whore when she is only producing videos that convey our modern day society's lenient attitude towards sexuality like a majority of all music artists. If you don't like her sassiness listen to traditional country music instead. @Amatiya If you can truly respect a women that always sings about sex, speaks about sex, wears basically nothing everywhere she goes, and also promotes sexual freedom to teenagers (her marketing audience is 12-20, look it up), then be my guest (Live and let live) but when you have children and they mimic what other lenient parents allow their teens to listen/watch.
