@Jah2070 Price, though. The ZR1 has mirrored lap times with the Ford GT, but the ZR1 costs alot less, and admittedly gives up alot of creature-comforts (tire noise, uncomfortable suspension, etc). As far as style, that's all down to personal taste. Just wanted to point out that America (GM in particular) have a few great cars that I'd put up against the higher end European stuff, (excluding stuff like Enzos and Carrerra GTs since they're not that common to see on the roads).

@Jah2070 LS9 = 638 horsepower, all aluminum, compact 6.2L V8 vs. Viper's 600 horsepower, 8.4L V10 that is heavier and takes up more space, and adds alot of front weight to the car. So even just raw power, the ZR1 beats the VIper, and in a much more efficient manner. The Viper was always more of a muscle car to me, the Corvette is much more a Touring car to me.
@weaverracing96 8.4L for 600 hp. They can do better than that, hopefully the improve on it more in the next generation viper. And if you like the ZR1 because partly of the price, you should check out the Nissan GTR too. You can get one for 80k and I think it might be the cheapest supercar (or high end sports car, whatever you wanna call it) for what it has to offer. 0-60 in 2.9 seconds a 1/4 mile in 11.2, all from a 3.5L V6 and the car nearly weighs 4,000lbs with full leather and rear seats
@Jah2070 Don't really care for the GTR too much, mostly because of the fanboys out there. I'm really not a fan of AWD cars in road racing situations since I'm used to driving RWD. Racing on the track or driving on the street, my cars are RWD and when I'm wanting to get the car to rotate through an apex, I'm used to standing on the throttle and using torque to rotate the car. Lol that technique doesn't work so well with AWD or FWD, torque steer right off of the tarmac.

I tried to use some gas to get the car around the apex like you but the end results were'nt so good lol i spun the car around so many times that i almost puked lmao. but i've gotten alot better now and i always feel weird driving my girlfriend's subaru now because i feel like the car is doing most of the work
@Jah2070 Because the new viper won't be out till 2013. Should be good since it will have italian influence ( I hope not too much, then it's not a viper) since they are now part of fiat. They want it to compete with other supercars like Ferrari and Lambo. It should be hopefully good or more likely Exellent. The only GM cars I would perfer would be the Corvette, CTS-V, and those Duramax Diesel Silverado's. Ford GT is exellent and is still one of my dream cars :)!

I tried to use some gas to get the car around the apex like you but the end results were'nt so good lol i spun the car around so many times that i almost puked lmao. but i've gotten alot better now and i always feel weird driving my girlfriend's subaru now because i feel like the car is doing most of the work

@Jah2070 Because the new viper won't be out till 2013. Should be good since it will have italian influence ( I hope not too much, then it's not a viper) since they are now part of fiat. They want it to compete with other supercars like Ferrari and Lambo. It should be hopefully good or more likely Exellent. The only GM cars I would perfer would be the Corvette, CTS-V, and those Duramax Diesel Silverado's. Ford GT is exellent and is still one of my dream cars :)!

What Kyle Busch said was absolutely true. Dale Jr gets so much damn face time for doing absolutely nothing. The guy has been in a slump since '04 yet gets the most face time, commercials, signings and what not. @ku2busch a slump since 04? well you forgot his 5th place finish in points in 2006. and in 2008 he had 16 top 10's and was top 5 in points for 22 consecutive races. its these last two years that have been a rough stretch, not the last six. the dude has 18 cup wins and 23 nwide wins, and 150 top 10's in cup. if 41 combined victories is categorized as mediocre? then there are few good drivers in the sport. not much he can do about his last name either, but i dont think hes complaining...im not lol

And then reason that we're fans is because whenever Jr. takes the lead for even 5 seconds, we love rising from our seats along with all the people around us. Jr. and Sr. are legends. No one can ever change that.

Seriously everyone thought this was going to be great for him. Less and less green in the crowd for him this weekend. Still fans around but disappointed fans.
