Sad to see it becoming such a tourist spot. Thanks for sharing your video though. As a local from around the area - I don't like how the tourism trade is creeping in even at the Devil's Marbles. I have some secret fishing spots I know of there - a number of kilometres away where you can get fresh water crabs & mussels. The aboriginals knew of all these spots - sad to see people from the cities with no background of our outback areas encroaching on us.
@shewolfish Sadly, I have to agree with you. It once was an adventure jsut getting to these spots and few did so when I was young - now it's easy as renting a clunker and driving on good sealed roads for a while.
I always enjoy when I get to visit a place with sky that wide- no wires, buildings blocking the blue- helps cheer me up for sure. Great sense of freedom, to me anyway. As long as one doesn't wander far from the car park- I imagine that territory gets as deadly as it is beautiful, very quickly.
@badbearwatch IT is wonderful out there and camping is my recommended way to truly experience it all. Although tired on the return, I indeed felt wonderfully refreshed. Yes, once you leave the marked tourist areas it would be dangerous for all but the most experienced and prepared people. Thanks for looking in!
@jrsnyderjr Well what's stopping you? We camped which left heaps of cash for alcohol LOL - But seriously we did it on the cheap and it's very affordable once you're here. And can't leave this comment without saying, US Southwest? We're better! Then again I 'may' be biased hehee
@Gigolo8 When I was 14 my parents had a choice in moving from the former British Colony we lived in to either US or Australia. My cousins picked Australia and NZ and we picked US. After this economic crisis and Americans reaction, I often wonder if we shouldn't have chosen Australia.
I want to visit Western Australia. Anywhere I go is always on the cheap and I can make that happen but it will likely not be until next year.
Another place I gotta see

So much of Australia looks similar to the US Southwest. It's one of the few countries left in the world I want to see.
