Marquez won that fight, plain and simple. He lit Paqc's head up and had the higher punch percentage through most of the fight. And as far as stepping on toes go, Pacq stepped on toes too. Total Punches: Pacman thrown 578 and landed 176 while Marquez thrown 436 and landed 138.
Power Punches: Pacman thrown 274 and landed 117 while Marquez thrown 254 and landed 100.
Both total and power punches Marquez did not dominate at all.
Pacman was the more active fighter and had the ring generalship. Marquez was very good but was conservative towards the later rounds and did not dominate Pacman overall. If you are to take the belt, you should take it and not just hope for points.

Marquez won that fight, plain and simple. He lit Paqc's head up and had the higher punch percentage through most of the fight. And as far as stepping on toes go, Pacq stepped on toes too. Obviously the result of Pacq's plyometric style and the mix of southpaw vs orthodox. This is the correct measure of the fight. They clashed heads because Pacq was so jumpy, as usual.

Marquez deliberately stepped on Pacquiao's foot about 17 times during the fight, he threw low blows, head butts, and hit Pacquiao at the back of the head. Marquez is a sore loser, a cry baby, disrespectful,a big time cheater! I've watch the fight over and over again,no doubt Manny Pacquiao won!
