  • Not enough fuel pressure! Duh!

  • 1distributor. look at how the motors running. at lower rpms, with the caps on the exaughst. they randomly drop.2 water in it somehow

  • Or water in the alcohol gas

  • 1 ur distributor is wet 2 not enough gas 3 water in the carb

  • Did you install alcohol safe floats? Sometimes in my truck the nut behind the wheel comes loose.

  • time for a bigger fuel pump. every time you stand on it its sucking the carb dry

  • wet distrib

  • sounds like a fuel issue like not getting enough, i run alcohol on my drag car

  • Water in the fuel would be My guess. since alcohol absorbs water from the air if not stored in an airtight container fuel just a month old can be totally contaminated with water. so that's My guess. was i close?

  • same thing happened to me due to my distributor getting wet! Looks like what happened here?

  • get a off road carb

  • your dipstick its loose!! thats my guess

  • @zachariaswhiteboy1 or your horn oil is low??

  • Way to small of carb

  • I got it, sell me the truck for cheap ill fix it then race you with it

  • its a bowtie

  • Low on blinker fluid? ;)

  • na....its running fine untill a very high rpm......fuel pump is either not pumping fast enough.....its cutting out at a high rpm or there is some type of fuel restriction at high rpm....the truck sounds tits up untill you give it hell

  • that must have sucked. he made a great attempt though.

  • no wipers

    that sucks

same thing with my mud truck :(

  • i know what it is he is low on blinker fluid then he needs a pushrod bearing and then and only then u wont blow the welds on that intake with that hunnad shot of nos

  • Sell the truck, buy a bag of weed and some Oreo's.

  • CAN YOU SAY, CHEVY ??????

  • yeah thats your windshild washer fluid heater motor pump. its drawin to much power makin it so the glow plugs aint got enough power to spark at the right time. its common with chevys after about 125 thousand miles. to be honest mam your luck thats all it was. its only gona cost ya about $300 to get a new one and have it replaced.... no joke i have gotten 3 people with that one. dumb city slickers. dont worry i told them its all fake and only changed there junk battery :) buts its funny

  • umm it might be the distibutor, the coil might be getting to hot, thats what happened to my truck

  • them trucks dont run on water

  • He got stuck in the rut that's obvious but if u don't get stuck u ain't playing hard enough !

  • its your ing modual located under your roter button truck will run fine for a while but when u start to get the eng warmed up or gag on the truck it wants to cut in and out or die completely and possabley you vacum from manifold to distributer is stoped up not allowing your distributer to advance the timeing blow the lines change your ing modual i know been through the same thing good luck and post up another vid of this hos when she runnin right

  • sound like it needs a higher volume fuel pump and a high dollar filter. sounds awesome though cant wait to see it when it is running right. also is the motor sealed off good from the water and mud? could be getting the ignition wet.

  • Or it might be you have some water in your alcohol? either way best of luck my friend and post up the problem when you figure it out plz.

  • It sounds like you got some water in that there motor.

  • distributor got wet.

  • axle to low to the ground plus its a chevy

  • problem is that its a chevy hahahaa

  • maybe a new driver? thats all i can think of

  • sounds like it might have ingested a little water...

  • I know he problem its a chevy =3-

  • i would of made sure that ignition cap was water tight

  • Couldn't it also be that the spark isn't advanced enough?

  • needs some new tires

  • that there is one deep ass hole

  • stupid foam fuel cells, i had the same problem. riped that shit out, built i new cap so mud and water couldnt puddle up and leak into the tank. no more cloged fuel filters :)

  • its runnig out of fuel under a load the carb is starving for fuel my big block did the same thing i put bigger fuel line and a bigger fuel pump and it was good

  • The answer is in the title...Its a fu chevy!

  • its not water dumb ass alcohol evaporates water ,fuel pump seems to be either loading up the injectors or not givin them enough all the way thru the run i wld deff start at the fuel system before anywhere else motor sounds great

  • Noob, if you are going to hammer it that hard, go for paddle tires.

  • what whent wrong was that ur drivin a chevy...get a ford booy!!! yeeeeeehawwww

  • Nice truck shame he didn't consider the amount of water it was eating up lol sounds nasty before he gets muddy

  • ICE...........

  • it got stuck!

  • driver error???

  • Shoulda went race gas, and what size fuel line is he running, what fuel pump? Maybe the float isn't set correct?

  • Trucks to drunk to do anything...

  • Hmm. How about water and alcohol don't mix? Got some water in that tank and one point, and the alcohol absorbed it. That's my guess.

  • @jetmechanic2004 True that!! First was condensation in the fuel then fuel tank foam broke loose then pump went out!! lol

  • @jetmechanic2004 the bigblock is ok the alcohol is ok the tires are ok the only thing wrong is the chevy part

  • running out of fuel. either the fuel filter is clogged or the guy isn't running the right fuel pump/carb on that alky engine.

  • carbs not big enough

  • @boggers44 Fuel filter stoped up!

  • im guessin somethin with the fuel delivery. pump or something. at first i figered hell he is runnin alchol that shits gonna over heat hahaha

  • @MrCheez1 Fuel filter stoped up

  • @MrCheez1 Alcohol will damn near freeze the top end of your motor, I know this from watching a friend of mine get frost on his butterflys after making a couple runs down a 1/4 mile on alcohol. Its pretty cool to see

  • Fuel demand... Either fuel pump was bad or the pump is to small. Very nice looking truck.

  • @scotts01Z71 fuel filter stopped up.

  • @scotts01Z71 Thats what I was thinkin big block just cant get enough fuel

  • What transfer case is he running? Or how many is he running? And do you know a tire size? Very nice truck!!! Thanks

  • @toushhog 205 tranfercase and tires or like 44 to 46

  • dam that trucks stacked high that thing got balls

  • sounds like either condensation, or the fuel pump wasn't putting out enough fuel/

  • @eminem123456789ful it was actually both. thought it was condestaion cleaned tank and carb and still did it. check fuel pump and it was bad to. maybe cause of the water who knows

  • nothing look wrongs visually, but sounds like overheating issues... otherwise that truck would have cleared that pit pretty easily.

  • @Kingswood7189 never has overheated. think he just had condensation in the fuel

  • @JTarver420 I honestly wouldnt have thought of that but it makes sense... even just a little bit of condensation/water can mess up an otherwise fine fuel system.

  • For alcohol the timing sounds a bit off. Which could lead to overheating.

  • @Justy33Think hes got it set at 38, sound to low. im not sure

  • #31 Most discussed this week!!!! Thanks guys for all the help

  • he should have had a muffler bearing put on it then it need a double pump radiator hose off a 72 vw beetle lol

  • @tubbyz28 ...on a 65 internatonal cab over, listed in the factory part book it has a muffler bearing on the exhaust stack.....f.y.i..

  • @tubbyz28 there is such thing as a muffler bearing.... i lost a fucking bet... its not what u think it is but there is one.... trust me i lost 100 bucks

  • The connecting rod hydrolic coupler released the high frequency antimatter containment oil pump compressor spring holding pin

  • @groutaone lmao!! that will mess a motor up everytime!!!

  • @groutaone im betting it was was the double bypass hyphonufinator valve

  • @LSfreak84 I heard those have trouble with the lithium crystals gelling up causing time warp

  • @groutaone Absoluetly thats been a big problem since the 70s

  • should have brought a ford :)

  • I think the problem is the truck. If you were to put those tires on a Ford your truck would run fine.

  • @24preacherboy Theyre all modified, it has nothing to do with brand by this point.

  • @ShepperdW thats a good point!!

  • @ShepperdW Yeah true but you'll still never find me dead in a Ferd

  • @24preacherboy Im betting the ford would have made it through the hole but broke down some time after lol

  • @24preacherboy Im betting the ford would have made it through the hole but broke down some time after lol

  • @24preacherboy Im betting the ford would have made it through the hole but broke down some time after lol

  • @24preacherboy lol ford wouldnt be able to spin them......before i get the hate mail im joking i agree that this modified it doesn't matter the name theyre all making serious hp....maybe waterproof carb and wiring harness a little better next time..,.,..

  • to rich

  • @kelbo031890 no had water in the fuel

  • It is running out of fuel, I am guessing it is carbed, not enough line pressure, so when it is at full throttle, under load, it runs the bowls dry, yet without a load this never seems to happen, might be a regulator, I have had that problem before, also, it takes a good bit more alc, to make one run than gas so line size could be a factor,, you need a pressure gauge with a reverse tattle on it attached at the carb just to be sure!

  • @MrWWhiskey had water n the fuel lol

  • its a chevy, come on, seriously, what did you think was wrong with it?

  • @evinsteven13 i figured he forgot to put fuel in it, but turns out if was full of water and fuel.

  • The problem is, you put a good engine in a truck. what a shame...

  • @ShepperdW gotta make it run lol

  • i bet it really didnt like the mud

  • @kelbo031890 it loves the mud!!! lol

  • Great sounding engine!

  • @shogun04041966 sounds great when its not sucking water throgh the lines

  • @JTarver420 you should make more videos like this one :)

  • @RicerEater1978 thanks was wondering how it would go over. prob will

  • weak ass hole

  • @aslugger07 really?? was over the tires and he couldnt make it lol

  • i think ya might have something in the gas tank there bud nex time put the cap on and ya might not have a problem

  • @harley101010101 there was water in the fuel caused from condestation lol

  • @JTarver420 yea and that really sucks alcohol aint cheep

  • @harley101010101 yea cost him a bunch cause he just filled the tank.

  • @JTarver420 dam he still running alcohol?

  • hot motor cool water .....frezing burning alcohol = condisation - water in fuel

  • @jmecrg correct!! sit in weather 25 degrees one day 70 the next. makes motor run like shit lol

  • @PITBULL35383 its a fuel problem but not fapor lock. your close

  • the problem is its chevy

  • @heathmeador IT Would be a worse problem if it was a ford or dodge lol

  • water in the fuel was the correct guess

  • @groutaone lol guess they havnt read all the comments

  • distributer cap got wet inside been there done that if you look close you can see unburnt fuel come out of the exhaust at 2.13 --- 2.16

  • @troy5251 nope and if you guess what else is coming out of the exhast you might be right

  • distributer cap got wet inside been there done that

  • @troy5251 good guess but it has to do with the fuel

  • washer fluids low or the cabobulater valves leaking

  • @crazyashell389 bahahahaha or the exhast fluid is out

  • problem:its a chevy;)

  • @PS3NitroLambo i agree lol

  • @dirtbikerman1234 lol thats the easy way out..lol

  • @PS3NitroLambo nah thats not it. fuel problem lol

  • My guess, it sounds like it's running out of fuel. Could be something got wet also. Thats my two cents. Awesome videos! Keep em coming!

  • @pstrokeranger its a fuel problem but what

  • @JTarver420 could be alot of problems with fuel... I've seen collapsed lines internally or lines coming apart on the inside after changing entire fuel system! Fuel pump clogged or not enough pressure and carb starving once bowls run out! Floats not set! ???? Or what some of these other guys or saying!!! IDk!

  • Could be carburetor, or maybe Distributor, or wet spark plug or messed up somewhere in the ignition tune-up area. ;) It's not THAT hard of a fix, specially on an older vehicle. Just diagnosing it is a pain. I'd start with making sure you have Spark and the recommended Fuel pressure. HOpe ANY of this helps

  • @BubonicPlague88 Its was a fuel problem

  • does it do it when he romps on it when on dry ground? if not i think its an electrical problem when water/ mud gets on something. that would be my guess

  • @brp4life420 its fuel related

  • Or, his fuel pump is failing to provide adequate fuel, for whatever reason....electrical short, too great a fuel demand, etc...

  • @rekjavicxxx its a fuel problem.

  • O2 sensor or something with the spark plug wires...

  • @rekjavicxxx Lol nope try again your way off

  • water in fuel sounds about right, a different story though i had an 85 s10 blazer with the POS 2.8 v6 if i hit a bump it'd die even when i went over train tracks too quickly but i took it through some mud one day after a long drive back from delta, ut when i hit the puddle the water was so cold and the engine was so hot that it actually cracked the block now in all reality i never knew this was possible but i guess it was just my luck.

  • @aftoyboy man thats some shitty luck,, ive always wondered about that

  • @JTarver420 i've always wondered that as well but i never expected it to happen to me because i never heard that it actually happened to anyone just was a myth and BOOM that's my luck, good thing though i was able to make it 15 more miles to get home ended up spinning the bearing on my way one thing i do like about chevys is the wonderful fully functional oil pressure gauge that thing saved my ass soon as i seen it drop i threw more oil in itand was good to go.

  • im thinking some mud got up in the motor or transmission somewhere. my truck acted the same exact way wen i got mud in my motor. and wen it wuld shift into second gear itd always die out. so thats prolly wat couldv happened

  • @1234quinn123 ITS SNORKELED ON THIS TRUCK BUT THAT WOULD DO IT

  • @JTarver420

It almost seems like the engine bogs down when it's wet. Im not sure what ignition system this truck uses but I am aware alcohol has far more advanced timing. Again Im not positive.

  • @QuattroStig yep somethings geting wet but not the ignition

  • @JTarver420 did it start up again?

  • @JTarver420 whoops, never mind. kept watching the video. only thing i can think of is the timing is too advanced. on most distributors, theres a vacuum advance. if hes got it advanced and floors it, the vaccum picks up and advances it even more which can kill it. try locking down the timing.

  • @RicerEater1978 TIming is locked and loaded. hint its a fuel problem

  • @JTarver420 hmm, not a high enough compression? tell me more about the motor

  • cool truck.

    the motor setup was wrong

    greets Mart

  • @madmart72 please explain. im intertested in you theroy.

  • @JTarver420

hy traver,i´m not a mecanic.i just think the motor setup was wrong.

alcohol need moor air to run smooth or thomething else

  • IM GUESSING IT HAD TO DO WITH ADDING NITROS AND NOT HAVING IT TUNNED RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @WrongWay75901 well thats what we been trying to decide.. lot of us there said he did but he swears he didnt put nos on it that it was a differant problem. but he wouldnt let us see under the hood so who knows

  • so did anyone ever guess it????

  • @WrongWay75901 you have to guess first then ill let everyone know in an hour or so

  • @PITBULL35383 fuel pressure is fine. whys it running out of fuel

  • It is flooding out or starving for fuel.

  • @PissOnJapScrap its starving for fuel but how come?

  • @JTarver420 I would say the floats in the carb because when he gets at a angel it dont want to run. BUT there are a few things that could do that as well.

  • @PissOnJapScrap its something that is fuel related but its the alchols fault, anyone ever dealt with alcohol has probly had this problem before

  • Well its running out of fuel Iam sure, if its been working good till now I would guess some junk got in the fuel line to partly block it or the the tank inlet. Sometimes improperly assembled AN fittings will shave off a piece of the inner fuel line wall and cause a block, or..a fuel line fitting has come loose before the pump letting the pump suck in some air, if Iam close I may guess some more as this is kinda fun

  • @groutaone you are very close, just knew youd get it on first try. lol Its easy

  • @JTarver420 did one of the floats stick on the carb? Or If the fuel pump fuse would burn out the engine could still get a little fuel past the pump IF the tank is higher than the carb

  • @groutaone dont know if the floats suck but that wouldnt be the cause of it. and the fuse didnt burn out either. has to do with alchol, you prob wouldnt have the same prob up there since its got where you live...hint hint

  • @JTarver420 all right well what about water in the fuel

  • @groutaone THATS IT!!! BEEN SITTING UP FOR A COUPLE WEEKS AND HE WENT OUT THERE AND FILLED THE TANK BEFORE HE LOADED IT UP AND ALL THE CONDESATION FROM THE AIR LEFT A LOT OF WATER IN THE TANK!!!!! KNEW YOU WOULD GET THIS ONE!!! LOL

  • @JTarver420 Thats the thing about alcohol, its a water magnet, always have to make sure you put the lid back on the barrel, dont leave it sitting around too long and stuff like that

  • @groutaone TOTALLY RIGHT!! THANKS FOR VIEWING MY VIDEO. THOUGHT ID TRY SOMETHING NEW.
