@KidKOUK True Story... We did a remix years ago and after the label agreed they liked it, they came back and asked us to make the kick drum come through more in the mix. So we did as they asked. We did 2 passes and I labeled the DAT Higher Kick Remix & Even Higher Kick Remix so they knew which one was which. Not great terminology I know. When the remix was released, the label copy was credited as "Higher Kick Remix" :o)

Great video- love the on spec bit and the payment dates. You should also do one the other way round where a drum and bass remixer wants £700 and then their remix sells 38 downloads. Top 40 only needs around 1000 sales in a week for the bottom end, so not much money about any more- used to be the case that you could easily sell 1000 vinyls a week!
