@MrJoker3918 it doesnt hurt when u get the actual braces but after a few hours, it wont hurt. ur mouth will just be sore. but when they tighten them it will hurt. hope this helped u :)

@MissChronicz You won't feel a thing, unless if you have sensitive teeth. I have sensitive teeth, meaning the enamel near the nerve is deteriorated, so the cold feeling hurts. Other than that, you barely feel anything.

@texaspeacelovechick Even if you do have sensitive, the pain (out of 10) was a 6 to me. And you also have plenty of time to use "Sensodine" which helps restore enamel on your sensitive teeth. It's available pretty much everywhere lol. Just don't brush so vigorously and use sensodine and you'll be fine.

it doesnt hurt when they put the braces on but about an hour after it aches because your teeth are moving and they arent used to braces just yet, after about 4days the pain should have gone away but the discomfort will still be there it will take 7-10 days till it will feel more comfortable, it may give you ulsers but its because of rubbing, your gums will get used to it and you wont get any more ulsers its like when you buy a new pair of shoes and they rub and it takes a while for them to fit

It doesn't hurt when they are putting brackets on your teeth (obviously)

but yeah, when you get braces, it will hurt like a bitch 1-2weeks (suggest taking tylenol/advil for pain reliever) After that, you'll get use to it, and it's totally worth it. Months will go by fast, and your teeth are already straighten. I still shred/tear my food apart and pop at the back of my mouth. My front teeth still hurts. =/

@KoolFlowerPower Getting your braces on is a simple procedure that doesn't hurt at all; then again, it really depends on where you go. My experience was fairly easy and pain free =). Not to scare you, but the uncomfortable part is actually having them on because at the beginning, your mouth is not used to having a foreign object in it. You will have discomfort for the next week after your braces because your teeth are shifting. Please remember that good hygiene is A MUST! Hope this helps =)
