  • thats a cool shirt

  • Dave is BOSS.

  • UUUUUHHHHH!!! {punches hand}

  • i have bindings that fit for size 11 and up boots.. if i got boots with shrinkage tech then would i need to get new bindings too? im size 11 boots right now

  • is this dude high on shrooms??? lol nice review though

  • this guy is baked out of his mind!!!

  • Any thoughts on the Burton Imperial Boot? I haven't seen a review on them yet. I'm 5'11", 240 lbs so I'm told I may want a little more support in a boot.

  • Hi there! My foot size is 28-28.5 cm. Would the Burton Ruler 09 Size 11.5 suit me me or I should go for 11-10.5?

  • @BADBOYKIEV Generally you want to size down just at little for snowboard boots. When they are broken in they will pack down and give your foot more room. So to keep the fit snug it's good to have just a little bit smaller size. And correct me if I'm wrong but is that on a Japanese sizing scale? You would actually be looking at either a 10 or 10.5, and you should definitely go for the 10.

  • Do the 2008 rulers have a reduced footprint too?? If they do should I get mdium or large est bindings?

  • @zimbawe2552 I'm pretty sure the Shrinkage tech was new to Burton in 2009, but either way, nope the '08 don't have it. And size bindings depends on your boot size so don't really know. But if you're border line on the sizes generally try and size down if you can. If you get them and they're too small just send them back for a bigger size. But don't take them out on the hill if they don't fit! Other wise we can't take them back.

  • the burton ruler is a terrible boot.!

  • @brannis you are a terrible person!

  • Im looking for a boot to rock on my Custom X 158 with Cartel EST , and a Love 155 with Infidel EST's. Im in my 2nd year of park and i love to rip it up on my custom X in the pow and the resort. haha, love the end. I ride a lot and i want a boot to be able to rock both boards in one day, Rip up the resort in the morning and park in the afternoon or pow all day or park all day. Think these would be a good choice for a cheap price?

  • @100dcshoes100 My Old Ride Anthems were ripped on the side where the boot flexs and my feet always hurt riding my Custom X last season and when i rode my crappy park board (not my new love) it was O.K. but by the end of the season it was starting to hurt the feet too. It sucked cuz i couldn't ride my new custom X unless i bit my tongue and sucked up the pain

  • @100dcshoes100 These will be a good boot for you. It doesn't really matter what board you're riding with the boots, it's what conditions and then it's just how you lace them. For park loosen up the top of your boot and for powder and freeride tighten them up. Trying on the boot before you buy will ensure you more comfort and also wear new boots around the house to try and break them in before you get on the hill. Also heat mold them. Discomfort between riding conditions could be your bindings

  • @thehouseboardshop I dont think its my bindings that are the problem. They are cartel EST's (everyone rides them), i even went to a shop in the village at my mountain, and all they could help me with is rotating the highbacks, and still it still is a problem and i have a feeling its my crappy boots that have rips on the outer side and they are slowly ripping on the inside, the pull laces that the boots have for easy entry has a few lace holes ripped, 3 down on the bottom on each boot i think

  • Just bought the Burton Custom v-rocker with malavita est bindings. Would you recommend these boots to compliment my choices? Or should I go with the Ozone as you said you get a closer feel to the board since the sole is optimized for EST bindings. I plan on riding mostly park but I do want to do some all mountain riding also. What do you think??

  • @MCWoodster14 OZONES!!! :)

  • Hey, do you have any of these boots in stock size uk10 in white or ozones??

    Thanks.

  • @goddard565 We have 3 models of the Ruler in white and 2 of the Ozones (a way better boot) in white. Your US size is 11.

  • @thehouseboardshop thanks,, changed my mind though just orderd some vans auras in white woooohooo :-)

  • Hey there... got a quick question, so u say that the boot moulds or shrinks or something.. so im a size 9 and iv tried it on. Fits awesome but should i try a size down or something? like 8.5 ??

  • @justnels The liner molds to your foot and the toe to heel length is reduced but you still by whatever shoe size you most commonly wear.

  • so the ruler or the freestyler for the nitro team board with burton cartel bindings, wich would be your top recommendation ?

  • @Mr1994z Ruler for sure.

  • any chance these would go great with Nitro Team 155 board with Burton Cartel bindings?

  • @Mr1994z Yes they would. Burton co-designs their boot and bindings better than anyone else and the Ruler will really complement the all mountain versatility of the board.

  • looking to get these boots for the srinkage tech my US size 10.5 currently measure 31cm heel to toe. What do these measure in 10.5????

  • 30.48ish
