This and Majora's Mask is my favorite Zelda games (MM is #1).

I wish Nintendo would do more games like this, not tied down to the "Ganondorf, Zelda, Triforce" story line. I love it when they do obscure games like this that have real emotional weight to it.

@blackcid well the difference is in the imperfect ending like we have here we have link in the ocean and he sees the wind fish flying, and if I'm correct ( correct m if I'm not) at th end link sees Marin riding on the wind fish or something of the sort.

Yes the ending was very bittersweet. But I told myself that everyone wasn't really gone. The Wind Fish slept and his dream became real. or straddled the line between reality and dreams. When he woke up, the island returned to the dream world, it just didn't exist in the waking world anymore. The scenes of the islanders implied they didn't disappear and kept living in dreamland. The Wind Fish's final words hint this. "That memory must be the real dream world".

He'd never accomplish anything in the real world and probably pass away from the elements. By waking up, he could go on new adventures and fulfill his life! But, it is still a sad ending.
