  • this is not daewo o lemans, this is opel kadett

  • no kurwa to hit jakis ! nazwac Opla Kadetta LEMANS :D hahahahaha

  • This car looked very advanced for its time. So what the hell happened to this company to cause them to go under.......

  • my dad worked for daewoo company,, and he owned lemans -prince-new prince. lol

  • Isnt it spelled with an O? :-P

  • isn't this the racer?????????????????????????

  • @backinblack19

    yes

in thailand racer, celio is called fantasy

  • opel kadett

  • @subzero92MK opel kadett copy Daewoo LeMans, later version called Racer, and last version was Cielo/Nexia/Heaven/Fantasy/Racer II/Super Racer....

  • @MPTuners so are u saying that opel copied daewoo?

  • @subzero92MK nope , i am saying that daewoo get license from opel :) and all i can say about daewoo is that they did great job in facelifting last nexia... but Nexia N150 (2008) is also a nice car (from UZ-Daewoo)

  • @MPTuners ah ok, now none daewoo's car is sold with that name, u can see only chevrolet

  • @subzero92MK only half true. in some countries around russia are nexia cars still sold as daewoo. Maybe from march not because GM discontinued Daewoo brand. But there were some Daewoo Nexia cars. check uzdaewoo(dot)ru :)

  • @MPTuners yep maybe there but here in italy daewoo matiz has become chevrolet matiz

  • @subzero92MK yes i know, also Gentra is Aveo, Lanos is Lanos :D and so on...

  • @MPTuners what a pity..daewoo was very famous and it could become one of the most important dealers from the east

  • @subzero92MK for sure... they biggest mistake was, when they bought Ssangyong (or whatever it was named :D) in 1998 when was asian financial crysis... they should be still here ...

  • The "international marketing" story on these gets even stranger:

Holden were building the engines for this model, and yes, it did start life as an Opel built under licence. Daewoos came to Australia under their own badge, but because of their overly generous warranties and poor build quality, the company tanked. Somehow they refinanced. Holden imports Daewoos, but to their specs, with Holden badges. Pretty sure Chevrolet does too/

  • i dont like the car even iam korean

  • looks like smiler to a an old Declasse premier but the styling is very Opel Kaddet/ Vauxhall Astra

  • they wwere launched in the uk but were rebranded as mercury you can by deawoos as chevys here and you can by the deawoo matiz as the karin CQ in china

  • This is Opel kadett... Daewoo licenced from GM and it was successful.

  • this is so funny! :-)

  • it looks EXACTLY like opel kadett!

  • Check out the grille- it's like they planned this to be a Pontiac from the beginning.

  • Daewoo sure didnt last long in the states

  • daewoo's are still in the states rebaged as pontiac, chevy saturn, suzuki

  • @daewooparts in the UK they had deawoo electronics since 1979 since it was recognized brand they didn't want Brits to think WTF when they launched the nexia so they re badged it as mercury nexia

  • @Prizm2356

it was for good. They cars had been troubling for all users and the fact that their quality inside and out was below marginal! It's good to know that Hyundai and KIA are not into daewoo's cursed path to bankruptcy!

  • ¡Opel Kadett!

  • beautiful ad for a good car !!!

  • Deuwuu chadoncha!!!

  • piece ov shit astra

  • Its very nice looking!

  • In USA/Canada it's a Pontiac Lemans

  • In Eur this car is Opel Kadett
