Wow, so many forms of animal abuse, it makes me sick. I had gone vegan to help product factory food farmed animals, and cows for their skin. But wow, bears too, and I also learned about feather farming with birds. This video made me cry, bears are lethal animals, but so majestic as well. Sigh. Their cries make me feel like crying. I've seen a complete docu about it and it was so sad. While Chinese doctors proved there are cheaper and better natural remedies. It seems that some people insist on the old traditional medicines.

I love Jackie Chan and his movies. Especially the Hong Kong classics! I think he is even more awesome now for doing this. You can see he's not doing this for any publicity for himself, he really cares about the barbarity which is being carried out in his homeland. You can see it in his face. There is so much needless animal cruelty still going on. The cruelty and suffering in the Chinese fur farms too. All the cats, dogs and other animals beaten and then skinned alive. There's no need for it as it's been proven that herbs and synthetics have the same effect as bear bile - it's a disgrace needlessly abusing these poor creatures. This seems to the the most cruel form of animal abuse on the planet... and yet, think of the broiler chickens most of us eat--billions of them annually-- kept in almost the exact same cramped conditions in ALL countries, including the U.S.A. And the millions of pigs also in cages too small to turn around in. I agree that bear bile farming is disgusting and must end, but where's the outrage at our own factory farming? Read "Animal Liberation" by Peter Singer.

It's been made illegal in New Zealand about 5 years ago. Good luck doing the same in America. we have also outlawed pig farming in pens. all of our local livestock must now be free range. I'm so proud of what we have achieved here in this small but kind country. And thank God for people like Jackie who do have the recognition and use it for good causes.

Jackie, as being your biggest fan this commercial has really moved me! Putting bears in cages and kill them for no apparent reason is cruelty to animals, it is sick and disgusting to put these innocent animals in cages! This is a fantastic video to show the conditions of bear bile farms. I've been a fan of Jackies for a long long time and I think him doing this advert is fantastic, I have seen him and Michelle Yeoh in a book about the endangered species trade in South East Asia which is a very good read if anybody's inerested.Some other charities tha help bears and rescue them from bile farms and worse are Animals Asia and Free The Bears.
