Some of the tenants of this property stopped paying rent and they got evicted. It is ridiculous that people are protesting on behalf of these people. This property has been owned by the Sephardic Community Committee since Ottoman times. Those tenants who moved in during the 1950's were allowed to stay as long as they paid rent to the owners. They stopped paying rent, they got evicted, that should have been the end of the story.
