Which religion is the best? - Religion & Spirituality

For me, all religion are the same (or have at leats the same goal). But to be honest, i prefer the polytheist religions because they are much more interesting than the monotheist religions. I mean Islam, Christianity and Judaism have the same thing (One almighty god, who love everyone, have some rules to respect to be love by Him and bla bla bla). I am an atheist but i find religions interesting because of the impact on human civilisation, so do not take what i said too seriously please.

Judaism is the best...

The list goes on. I say religion is a pathetic barrier that burdens the progress of humanism and understanding of each other. If only everyone chose love, like doctorw2 stated, over religious dogmas, the world would be a MUCH, MUCH, better place than it is right now.

@bfddanny1987 well politics and religion are kind of the mother and father that created war, it's a lot easier to fight and die for you're god, especially with the valhalla like future promised after death. seems if the world focused more on advancing intellectually, we could stop all these foolish wars. humanitarians and scientists should be running the world not these power hungry war mongrels, i would be fine with all religions if they could peacefully co-exist, sadly that's not the case.

@bfddanny1987 not really Religion has more bad points than good o.O I don't believe in god, so i wonder how does love bring me closer to god ? I wonder if i believe in Spirituality too , for the most part i don't , but somehow in one way i do .....

But hey , Science , Religion , love spirituality can be used by man in any way he wishes , as these are all created by us , If Humans forgot about their racial and religious differences , the world would more smoothly,I believe humans can do a lot

In the east the religion, Political system, and science had seldom messed with each other ! Thats why Hinduism , Buddhisam, and Jain religion hardly ever produced terrorists !

Christianity is the most invasive religion ever i mean i have talked to other Muslims and you guys are so easy to talk to and alot of what Christians spout about you guys are so wrong like saying u just want to kill all the Christians. then you go to Christians and its like who ever yells "MY RELIGION IS RIGHT YOU STUPID ARSE WHOLE" is right. I am christian but i donot agree with many other Christians way of "leading people to christ" or the way i see it, Shoving people to Christ.

No religion is the best religion. they all teach similiar values that if you really take them to heart, you will live a good life. Most religions teach to treat each other as you would want to be treated. Unfortunately some people take it all to seriously and view belief as a competition. Religious wars are fought by fanatics and do not represent the average person. Please stop lumping us all in with them.

Belief systems were created for the enslavement of the minds of those who choose to be enslaved, by the oppressors of this world many many centuries ago. religions are the cause of most of wars in the world - other causes are greediness, nationalism, ideologies difference and racism

believe in science, if you are sicked, dont pray, go to hospital

You do speak the truth. We are one with each other and with all that exists. There is no need for these religions because the creation of these religions did not come from a divine source. As any intelligent person can tell.

All religions and cults that I investigated have one thing in common. They all appeal to emotionally scarred or emotionally unsatisfied people, afterall emotion is what drives us to do anything in life whether its desire to gain pleasure or avoid pain. The kingdom of heaven is within thyself and not in an external setting with a master sitting from the pulpit. You don't need to pay for that kind of wisdom?

There is no factual proof that god or a divinity exists. Darwin's evolutionary theory is the only plausible argument for the existence of all species and the idea of divinity. We are purely evolutionary and exist for that reason only. Man has created the notion of god because of his innate drive to rise above himself, this 'reaching for the stars', 'pursuit of god' is purely a neccessary 'evolutionary compulsion'.

Religion is Satan!! That divides the human family, I hope and pray that religion will one day be banished off the face of the earth; and people can just show love, friendliness, compassion and kindness toward one another without any form of discrimination.
